Friday night, two guys in a car disguised like a cab pick up a drunk girl on pizza corner. She was just looking for a cab to her boyfriends, not even from the area. You tried to rape her you dirty fucks, and loosing a purse sucks too. If it were me, you’d be fucking dead.

OMG…have the authorities been notified……..this may be an ongoing thing these guys do….prey on drunk women under the guise of a ride….. is this woman alright…has she been to the EMERG….. if they have her purse they have her addy…she needs to let the landlord/owners know…she needs to let someone know in case they come back or threaten her by having her ID…….

This is not the first time something like this happened in Halifax. I remember another young woman being picked up and assulted by someone pretending to be a cabbie. Maybe he was driving a white van?

The recent stats (since 2004) of reporting and clearing these types of assaults with HRM police are the national shame…we have the lowest clears for this type of crime against women in Canada…..

Why got to police….I doubt if she didnot know the men and it was a fake cabbie how will she identify them to police anyway…..HRM police could not find a penny in a penny loafer…. stats show and you can check with Avalon and Elizabeth Fry Society…that our HRM still treat women like two dolla hollas so why go through that degradation again if she is unsure of who it is….

This happened to a girl I know a couple years ago. It was an actual cab though. Fortunately she wasn’t raped, just driven all over town while the driver took pictures of her on his cell phone and made disgusting comments about her appearance.
She didn’t get the cab’s number, but did know what company it was. She got the police involved, but the cab company refused to cooperate with the investigation – they wouldn’t evne release the names/pictures of their drivers for her to look at. The investigation went nowhere.
