My bitch is for all those drivers that signal as they make a turn in their car.For any one thats had to slow down behind someone on icy roads knows a liitle more notice that your turning helps alot.If you signal as you turn ,da thats a no brainer we can see your turning.Maybe the insurance industry or motor vehicle Dept. can put a reminder as to what that little switch on the steering post is actually for.

Couldn’t agree more… after I re-read your bitch to figure out what you were saying.I’m sick of drivers not giving adequate notice with their signal lights before they make their turns or change lanes. Putting the blinker on after you’ve already started to turn, or started to merge in front of me, is not cool… not to mention it’ll probably get you into an accident some day.
Well, at least it’s better than those moronic drivers who DON’T USE THEIR TURN SIGNALS AT ALL, and expect those drivers behind them to somehow read their minds that they were going to make a turn, without putting on their blinker!!Sheesh, give me a break! Bitching about those who actually USE their turn signals? I’d give them a medal!
Hfx_Chris has a valid bitch – signal lights are supposed to be used in advance of making the manoever to let other drivers know of your intentions, not after others have had to swerve out of your way.Hopefully someone gave Molly a medal instead of a drivers license.
Careful now, Ex-Haligonian. I probably drive your sorry ass around everyday with the type of vehicle I drive everyday! And I’ve never had a accident due to actually using my turn signals (what a concept!), and putting them on early enough to let drivers behind me know that I’m actually making a turn! (or changing lanes)…. so, where’s that medal???

Molly – I can assure you that I wouldn’t want to work as a driver for Metro Transit as the workforce there is way too into themselves for the most part. It doesn’t make for a fun workplace when you realise their union is a major part of the problem. As for my driving skills, well they can’t be that bad as I also do motorcoach charters on the side and both jobs see me responsable for vehicles worth $500,000 to $750,000 each plus the passengers. I can’t remember the last time I got a ticket or was involved in an accidents (the clean drivers abstract says something about the skills needed).CA – I certainly don’t think I am wiser and more wordly than anyone else, no matter where we live. I’m just another guy trying to earn a living. Molly made the mistake of picking on the wrong person and simply didn’t expect me to defend myself. Perhaps you should keep your nose out of discussions until you know the whole story.
