To the waitress who gave my friend a pitcher when she ordered a beer (as in one… singular… beer) and then charged her 20 bucks for it, saying it was my friend’s fault. Screw you. We didn’t tip and you know why. Maybe the next time someone orders A BEER you should bring them that… might help you get some tips. —Can’t Believe She Paid that for Draft

  1. Did she mention that to the server when she brought the pitcher over or afterward?

I would’ve asked to speak to the manager. I certainly wouldn’t pay for something I didn’t order.

  2. wtf is wrong with these waiters/waitresses. The customer is always right and it’s never their fault, especially in the case where it’s REALLY NOT THEIR FAULT. I hope she got fired and chooses a different career path fucking entitled bar/restaurant staff are the worst, she probably bitched to her friends that you guys didn’t tip her.

  3. Let me guess: you drank the pitcher of beer rather than refuse it and wait for an actual bottle.

  4. The customer is always right is such a bullshit saying. They aren’t. Now that that has been said, had I ordered a beer and a pitcher was delivered, I would have said I didn’t order that and have it sent back. Had I been given any grief my next step would be the manager. Had he or she given me grief, I would have walked out (after paying for anything I did buy, without tip), never to return.

  5. That’s one fucking waitress that needs a beer shampoo. Your friend should not have accepted the pitcher or paid for it. Buy your buddy a set of brass balls or she’ll be every bully’s dream punch.

  6. See, that’s what I was wondering Cranky/jennier — I’ll bet you the friend drank it then bitched about having to pay for it.

  7. She likely already drank a full pitcher and was not really sure what she ordered in the first place. Same with the bitcher. Slow down you lushes!

  8. Im the poster of the bitch and the beer my friend ordered was out first at the pub. My friend actually didn’t drink a drop out of the pitcher and still had to pay. She ended up giving the full pitcher to the table of people sitting next to us so it wouldn’t end up getting wasted. After dropping our drinks off she did not return once to make sure everything was ok. She was rude and not apologetic at all. She tried to tell the waitress she didn’t order it when she went to pay and the waitress just totally dismissed her.

  9. I would have dropped the full pitcher off to the bartender and told them it was delivered mistakenly. This is not a customer problem. It is a staff problem. Why pay for something you didn’t order?
