So I have been commuting from Halifax to Dartmouth for about 9 months now via the Mackay Bridge.Going to Dartmouth is fine, hardly any traffic.Coming back during rush hour is an absolute nightmare! If it’s not the cheaters who can’t seem to choose their lane after the tolls and try to cut in on the other side of the bridge,to the idiots that let them in!When I am behind someone going so slow that there are almost 2 car lengths between them and the car ahead,I get so frustrated because they are letting 4 or 5 cars cut in which makes my commute even longer. It’s called bumper to bumper traffic for a reason.I choose my lane at the beginning because I know in advance where the hell I’m going so I don’t have to cut in front of someone. To the cheaters who like to cut in?You are only creating slower traffic because everyone behind you must wait for some idiot to let you in! —Stay in your own lane!!!!!!!!

  1. did you know there is a direct link between number of exclamation points used and your blood pressure?

  2. Maybe worth checking on moving closer to work in the future or starting to work closer to where you live. Easier on the BP.

  3. Just enjoy the moment OP, traffic will be traffic. Idiots and slowpokes are always out there, learn to love them.

  4. I second you OP. I live close to my work but I have to take a care because that’s a 15 min drive opposed to a 45 min bus ride.
Sadly enough, I started avoiding the highway any time of the day due to the amount of idiots on the road. Whoever drives 40km/hr onto a ramp to merge onto the highway?!
Also, why the fuck are you doing 80 in the left lane the whole way and forcing people to pass you on the right?
It’s ok to have bad drivers. Here just happens to be very many of them in a small place.

  5. The rules of the road…1 for 1 when safe to do so…otherwise stop being a jerk. There are so many clueless, ABSOLUTELY CLUELESS drivers in this province its scary. My wife i wont let drive with me in the car, unless after anesthesia. She is from here, im not. I went through Young drivers of canada, a police defensive driving course and a driving academy in ontario (fathers orders) before getting into the family car…my wife didnt have any of that. It is as bad here as driving in Egypt. They would make a killing doing Nova Scotia’s worst driver or Dont drive here: Nova Scotia.
