I’m the operations manager for the Bayers Lake company tearing down Shannon Park and personally, I’d just like to say what a disgusting place it is and can’t believe the city left it up for so long. I honestly can’t believe the city would impose such a hazard on its people and I’m glad to be a part of the destruction of it. Now if we could just take over the job from our Burnside counterpart we could really get it done fast. 😉 But that’s not something I want to go into today. —OP ENV

If shannon park was already torn down, you might be looking for work OP. Be thankful you have your supposed contract. It’s common knowledge that the place is a shithole, your not bitching about anything new. 1999 just asked for it’s bitch back.

The city has nothing to do with Shannon Park. If you really have the contract for it, you would know that. The city cannot issue contracts for Shannon Park because they do not own it. Canada Lands Company, the owner, is a Crown Corporation.
I’m sure it was an okay place before the government let it go to shit, Could have been reused but they let it go too far and clearly its a pile of shit right now!
