To the assholes with the golden dog that barks incessantly day and night – if you can’t treat an animal right, don’t have one! It’s breaking my heart right now listening to the pitiful whining and howling as the miserable creature is left out in the pouring rain (tonight, Sunday, and last Friday night too). Can’t you hear him?? Don’t you have a heart?? Or did you take off to party somewhere and just left him to fend for himself? … And if you do ever take the time to pay attention to him (other than to let him run through everyone else’s yards where he’s sure to step on something in that shitpile and hurt himself), do you think you could try training him not to bark for HOURS at a time? It sucks to come home after a hard day of work and try to relax with the neverending barking in the background.

Fed up, do everyone a favour and keep track of these instances and call the SPCA to alert them of this cruelty. Thanks!
Ditto comment, also, it helps if you record it on your phone, camera, whatever you have. You will be doing the critter justice. Also talk to your neighbours and see if they will call in as well. If you are afraid of reprisals, tell the animal control folks you will not report, if not guaranteed privacy. They do not give out your name or any personal information.
ffs, a dog in the rain is cruelty? Seriously. Its an effing dog. It can handle rain.
I think this post is a timely reminder of why landlords ‘in general’ aren’t dog-friendly in this town (as other folks have bitched about). Why would we take the risk that your dog is going to force us to replace carpets as a result of an ‘accident’ or two, or upset our neighbours (for example, the OP) when we have a choice to NOT do either of these things?
to the the assholes who wrote the first post. you have no idea how well that dog is taken care of. homemade food, walks etc…. she is a puppy, less then 9 months old. she is still in training. she was not left out in the rain all night, she has a kenel and shelter, water, food and dry blankets. get the facts straight. sorry if you feel a dog needs to be in bed at night with you, but her owner does not. sorry he has to go to work to buy her food. if you have a problem maybe you should talk to the person and get the real story and the circumstances before you open your mouth. anyways she is well taken care of and next time you have a problem don’t leave an annoymous letter here have the guts to come talk about it. i am sick of people thinking they know what is right. if she choses not to get in her house then what a i to do, force her, isn’t that a form of abuse. ummmm.
i have a problem with the first two/three(maybe not serious)comments on this subject.idon’t agree with’the landlord’at all!!!!please always inform ‘ignorant people’ that everyone already knows that they are supid except them.the dog in question happens to be:well fed(nutritionally and by normal human standards),well exercised(by more than one person,it’s TRUE!),on the most part happy(apart from during the rain!!)and loved by everyone who is a frieind of the dog or the owner(who by the way is free to have it’s own life too!)the dog spends two or more nights inside, but is essentially an ‘outside dog’and “Knows it’s place”.By the way, does anyone want “A SKUNK?”No of course not.So will the real shady stand up?If you live around the area. Please feel free to consult the owner who is always ready to talk and discuss an issue in person, rather than being ruined by his computer’illiteracy’.
if you haven’t figured this out by now,I am the owner and am really tired of people trying to tell me how to raise my child(which is what it is!)I know you will never have any courage to vent your concern in person, but feel free to report me to SPCA or the Police(the dog has a reg.tag, because that’s what i’d do.not harp on like then vindictave and passive/agressive voyuer/neighbour you are!!!!!
