Why is it ok for women to laugh and joke about men suffering, but not the other way around? If you’re going to laugh about a case where a man is permanently disfigured like it’s the funniest thing on earth, expect 0 sympathy from me the next time a woman is attacked or assaulted. I’ll laugh. —Violence is Violence and it isn’t Funny

  1. No you can’t be sexist just because someone else is and no violence is not funny, not even when someone else laughs about it. You are as weak as the people you hang out with.

  2. I really don’t think this sounds like a case of sexism. Unless you can elaborate on it, it sounds to me like you would have been fine if it were men laughing at this other unfortunate man. What colour was the skin of those involved? maybe there was also an element of racism. Or maybe they are more wealthy than said man and it was a case of financialism. Oh yeah, I guess it could have been ageism. Maybe this man is gay and they are homophobes or vice versa and they are heterophobes. Or it could be his religion they don’t like. maybe that he is heavy set and they like to discriminate against larger people (fatism).
OB, part of the problem is people like you who think that everything is an “us vs. them” issue and you think that everybody needs to be put into different categories.
I just see this as 2 ignorant “PEOPLE”, yes thats right, them being female is irrelevant to your bitch.

  3. I already do that OB. Although I laugh at both disabled men and women. Hell, that scene on Family Guy of Peter in the hospital waiting room and having to sit next to that spastic autistic chick was hilarious. Blaalahahahhhhh

  4. Seb- I’m still offering to choose to be gay for you. And you know how rouch and strong my hands are from pushing the chair…
It’s like being fisted by a ten pound ham, while the other jerks you off.
Lemme be your daddy, you little bitch.

    I await your email.

  5. agreed. If a woman makes a sexist joke, make a scathing comment about her fake tits.

Tit for tat, as it were. It’s not fair we can take the piss and you can’t.

  6. lol can you explain “as it were” to me IK? I’ve been curious about this turn of phrase as of late.

  7. So the next time a woman is attacked, it’s going to be funny to you because a select group of women laughed at a disfigured man? I thought violence was violence and it wasn’t funny?
I don’t see how it’s an example of sexism… just a few ignorant women who are very heartless. I’m sure they would have laughed if it had been a disfigured woman, too.

  8. If you can bend frying pans with those hands…
I eagerly away to hear of what tales you and Seb spin.

I hear he’s ordered up the ‘rectal reorganization’.

as for OP, if this is about buddy who had his Johnny English lopped off…
yes, I concur. quite a shit show.

  9. I have some lovely, ornate sterling silver goth rings I can loan you. 3 per finger. Real steampunk stuff. Those contusions will never heal.

  10. Being born disfigured or falling into an accident that makes you disfigured is not the same as a woman being assaulted, nor does them laughing about a man being disfigured have anything to do with sexism.

Maybe if she said, he got disfigured because hes a man, then ya….?

If i saw you laugh when a woman was assaulted, id bag tag you. because really, How manly are you to say such a thing?

    Use yer brain.

  11. I am a female, and I Love my man to reeses peices! The eggs to my bacon Baby! The nin to my tendo!!Though I don’t agree violence in any way shape or form is okay, I am with OP on the sexism double standard issue. One of my biggest pet peeves is when some of my lady friends won’t let their hard working guys so much as watch a movie with jlo or jolie in it, but they are allowed to go out on “girls night” and hit on every waiter that has a dick because it’s “cute” and “harmless” when girls do it. May just be me, but I think respect should go both ways.

  12. well, if a woman wants to make sexually suggestive comments about me, slap my ass, and offer to take me to bed……..that’s a wet dream, not harassement.
