I understand your job sucks but that does not give you the right to treat your customers with disrespect and be blatantly rude to us when we come in for a sub. The past four times I have gone to your location you have been a complete dick to everyone in the store. I work in customer service and when my day is horrible I always put on a smile for people. I agree 110% with this bitch! I think those of us who do, or have worked in customer service definitely know how unacceptable this shit is.
My cousin and her new husband are in the service industry, particularly the food and beverage industry and the hub-unit hosts weddings at his restaurant on an almost weekly basis, so they (especially my cousin) were very critical and worried about whether or not their wedding was going well and that their guests were enjoying everything, to the point where my cousin, I don’t think, enjoyed her day as much as she could’ve. And the kicker *is* ALL the guests had a FANTASTIC time. We got together the day after before the out of towners left and all I heard were raves about how classy, fun and well done the wedding was. Easily one of the best I’ve been to.
So, I can understand how this pisses you off, OP. Puts a bad name on all of those in the customer service industry.
The problem *is* turnover in these positions is so high that it likely doesn’t matter how poorly this asshole is treating the customers — they probably won’t lose their jobs over it.
OP, why bother going back? Just call the manager and complain. If nothing changes, just treat that staff member worse than they do the customers, and belittle them as a sandwich slave.

There’s a girl at the subway I work close by to that is just dreadful, I don’t think she knows how to smile, or even how to not look completely miserable or pissed off all the time. I go back and hope not to get her. I only have so many options for lunch and subway is the only healthy one. I need to get some groceries an start makin lunch, I know.

Yeah, my hair would always smell like marinara sauce and my hands smelled like onions for an entire month after I quit 🙁
