So, how about instead of stapling a weight loss pamphlet to my drycleaning you actually do your job and dryclean my clothes! I have never seen such a HORRIBLE job in my life! With that shoddy work, maybe you should be more focused on keeping your customers instead of telling them to lose weight, but then again I guess you really don’t know anything about drycleaning do you?

—taken to the cleaners alright!!

  1. i used to work at a dry cleaning place, and the only reason you got that, was because of a promotional thing.there was no malice intended, i can assure you. we used to put all kinds of stuff out back in the 80’s,from weight watchers to no smoking,to health canada warnings.it is nothing personal, i can guarentee you that. lighten up on things a bit, and enjoy the sunshine while we have it.

  2. Give yourself a slap and say, “I’m going to start taking care of myself and lose some weight”. That dry cleaner sounds like he is looking out for your best interests. You should thank him. You look at yourself in the mirror everyday and don’t realize how far you have let yourself go.

  3. I’m actually with Lifesucks on this one — probably just a promotional thing. You sound a bit touchy on the subject though 🙁

Anyway, if you’re unhappy with the job they did why not go back and nicely complain? I’m sure they’d have no problem doing your garment again for free, or they might even give you some coupons or something. Most businesses are more than happy to fix something for their customers if the customers are decent about it. You get more results when you’re nice to others than when you scream in their faces (not saying you would, OP, just in general). If they won’t do anything to attempt to make you happy, just go somewhere else. Lost business is the ultimate revenge.

  4. Try taking your dry cleaning to ‘Omar the Tent Maker & Cleaning Services’.
You’ll never be insulted, of this I can assure you. But seeing as I have never personally used the service, I cannot truely say just how good their drycleaning is.
Although they do make great tents.

  5. I agree with Never Wrong on this one…I could barely finish reading all the comments my eyes were watering from the giggles…

  6. insulting clientele for shamelessly promised promotion…..
    not the best marketing strategy.

kinda like giving free coupons for McDonalds at the NewBody’s next door…..
    just MIGHT hurt business.
