Why do 4 buses travel on Glendale Ave in Lwr Sackville, but only the 80 goes up and down Sackville Drive? Everything in Sackville is on Sackville Drive, the only thing on Glendale is the godamned Sports Centre! Who’s designing these routes, a blind tourist? WTF!

  1. Why are you mad at the 80? It sounds to me that the 80 is the only bus that goes on the road you want. Maybe you should be yelling at all the other buses?

  2. The other busses run up glendale because they serve residential areas, like Dr F. pointed out. And they run a lot less frequently than the 80 does if memory serves me correct.

I mean you take some of the busses that run up there when you’re trying to get home and there’s still a lot of walking going on. The residential areas, imho, in lower sackville are really under serviced. I mean, if you live on Waterwheel, for example, in old millwood, you’ve got a hefty little hike from the 82 on millwood drive…I’m not sure if community transit runs up beaverbank cross road anymore, but when I lived in old millwood as a kid I remember doing a lot of walking to get to and from the 82 when we couldn’t get that bus as opposed to now given the fact that I live in a residential part of the city, and not a suburb like bedford or sackville. (most walking I’ve ever done was less than 1/4 km from lacewood to my apt on parkland, if that).

  3. I agree, “Bitch, Please!” This poster is unfairly criticizing the 80 even though it is only doing its job. For shame! I compare it to someone blaming the person their partner is cheating on them with, rather than their partner.

On another note, why has The Coast stopped labelling these bitches as “Another Bus Bitch”?

  4. Ride the 84 some morning and you’ll see the residents come out of the woodwork on Glendale quite literally.
