What the hell is it with that monopoly??? They put on their bills “Contact us to make payment arrangements” and then they refuse to make any kind of arrangements whatsoever!!! F*cking Corporate Mafiosas!!! Here’s to living off the grid! F*ck Nova Scot

NSPC shut of my gooddamned power a few months ago by accident, they were supposed to transfer it into my name when my roommate moved out…but they fucked up and shut it off all together…so when I called they said…oh well the soonest we can hook it up is like four days from now…THANKS GUYS, YOU FUCK IT UP AND I SUFFER!!
It took me six tries to find somewhere to pay my stupid NSPC bill. I ended up wanting to ram my cash down someones throat.
Check your NSPC bill and you will see that NSPC is working every day to be more competitive, the question is, competitive with who??? Think back when MT&T owned you and your phone and a long distance call anywhere inside the province was $2.50 a minute. Now there is some competition in the phone/internet business and if a company screws you over move to a new company.NSPC isn’t the only power generation company in the northeastern market and I for one would love some competition for my power dollars. By the way when phone de-regulation was first suggested MT&T said it would ruin phone service here and cost more, how is MT&T doing now…
At first, I thought pretty highly of NSPI, service wise. When I needed power turned on initially, it happened quite quickly, to my pleasant surprise. On several occasions, however, I’ve seen the inefficient, ineffective work that this corporate hog calls “service”, and I cringe at the misuse of the word. I really feel for those folks out in the more rural parts of our province; at least I live in town, so I tend to get my power back a little more quickly when things go wrong. Kudos to the technicians, who do work very hard to keep things running, but please, let’s get rid of the monopoly.
Who is NSPC? Seems to me that since 1992 they have been called Nova Scotia Power Inc, ergo NSPI. If you are going to rant at least get the name right.
