I would not typically take my business to a public forum such as this, but I seem to have hit a dead end. It is 7:29 on Saturday morning. I would love to have slept in today, except the school bell next to my apartment is blaring in my ear and has been since 7am!! This has happened numerous times before, each time at a different ungodly hour. 12am, 3am, 4am…and I am friggin fed-up!! I have left several messages for the school in question and have contacted their school board twice. I stopped by and spoke with their maintenance person – He was very sweet and assured me it would be fixed. He lied. The one time that someone answered the phone the receptionist said she had no idea why it was going off at odd hours and the bell company had been contacted. Well Sweetheart, they didn’t fix it and I have called 3 more times with no response!! 34 minutes – That’s how long your bell has been rattling my brain! —BellBuster

Find the home number for your district school board member. Give him/her a call at 12am, 3am, 4am…
How about a noise complaint with the police? Maybe they can put a few bullets in the damn thing while they are at it.
Do not ask for whom the bell tolls,
It tolls for thee.
Sounds like the old ghost of … (insert your school here)… is at it again.
Well first of all it’s probably not the school bell. More than likely it is the intrusion alarm. Unfortunately alarms can be activated by weather, especially with all the wind, snow, rain, and temperature changes.
if no police/guard are showing up, it’s not the alarm siren bro tim.
could very well be a malfunctioning recess bell. they are set on timers to ring at certain times (no more school marm with a hand bell) and the timer is probably kerflooey ( industry jargon for broken)
