Too busy playing Thought Police?
Well. Lordy Be. Now that the Ecology Inaction Center has ethnically cleansed the Peninsula of settlers and given it a cute new name, Even the Scroat has decided to pull up stakes and make the pilgrimage to Fort McMurray.

WHO’S DOING THE PROOF-READING? AND WHO’S GIVING THE ADVICE?
“… the title is for the week befores article.” Who’s reviewing the Updates?
Forget about the updates, just don’t bother applying for the job of proof-reader at The Coast.
Also, stop reading Dan Savage. In her “The Serial Wife: What three failed marriages taught Margo Howard about love, life and offering advice,” (The Atlantic, October, 2014) Allison Wright, who writes a syndicated advice column under the pseudonym “Margo Howard,” points out that “Dan Savage, of the Savage Love column, draws on his own complicated sexual and romantic history, to sometimes crude but great effect… Dan has a saying he abbreviates to DTMFA – Dump the Motherfucker Already.”
Get the idea? As Margo has failed in marriage yet gives advice on holy matrimony so Dan, who has equally failed in sex and romance, gives advice on, well, you guessed it.

A pleasure as always,
Cheerio!
I used to like reading savage love but he has taken to dulling his edge so as to become more mainstream (aka: broadly socially acceptable). This does wonders for his pocketbook and for those vultures who surround him but it does a great disservice to those who seek his advice.
You can always find Savage Love at it’s home web page: http://www.thestranger.com
… or, ya know, read something actually interesting.
We get bitching about the cursewords in the free paper but they seemed content to let their tween read about assfucking orgys, getting their balls stepped on for pleasure, and stretching out the ol’ vajayjay enough to park a buick in there.
