Dear rural Nova Scotia (and especially Cape Breton),
You have no idea how much you mean to me. You offer refuge, natural beauty, and repose from an otherwise peninsular, isolated, falsely prideful and Hitler-esque ‘city’ (but Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville and Spryfield – you’re alright). If it weren’t for you I could never bear being here.
