I tried to buy a lunch item with my $25 gift card from a fast food place in L. Sackville and the staff was so useless they didn’t seem to know how to process the card. So, they left me hanging, no lunch, no sale, no apology, nothing. I’ve had no response from 2 emails sent to head office. —You Suck

whoa you don’t think companies actually want you to use those gift cards that you buy do you?
If they can’t figure out how to use the gift card they should just give you free stuff.
I remember stuff like this happening when I worked in a fast food restaurant back in High School. We just gave them what they wanted, because ultimately it was our fault that we had no idea how to process the gift card. We’d just mark anything down that was part of the transaction and tell the manager later.
your biggest mistake? Sackville.
was it wendys? I use to sell the cards all time but we were never taught how to use them :}
? you gonna take that?
that’s a pretty bitch move on their part…
I hope you fight it a little harder than this.
write back soon and tell us all how you stuck it to the man!
I think the title of this post insuates good ol Dirty Bird. OP, you’re better off, that shit will kill you

Did they try to steal it too? I went to Wally World in West End a few years back with my brand new $50 gift card and the trashy cashier said, “Nope, ain’t nothin’ on it” and she placed it on the register. I paid debit and asked her to hand me my card back (got it back, obviously..). I used it again a few days later and it worked… Scammer.
So you didn’t get your fill of rotten chicken, is that such a bad thing? Your arteries thank you.
if the manager couldn’t help, then there shoudn’t be gift cards. i came across this once, at a timmies place, and was shocked to hear, that sales staff, didn’t know what to do. so i cordially helped her thru the process, and was rewarded, by the manager, with a half dozen free donuts. if it is a new thig to them, then don’t get bent out of shape, some people actually don’t know their ass from a hle in ground. try being a bit more cooler next time, or maybe not getting or giving a gift card. and if you had no money on you, then that is your own damn fault, not theirs.
Fast food places rarely “train” their employees. You’re just thrown out there and are suppose to figure shit out. I worked at Subway and I wasn’t given anything to tell me what goes on each sub.. they just wanted me to ask someone EVERY TIME I didn’t know. Luckily I’m good at memorizing but fuck I felt like a knob for the first few weeks.
