Ok, so I get that there are a lot of traffic violations that happen at the rotary and I understand the need for a routine police presence to make sure everyone is behaving themselves. But here is a bitch towards to one of our dim lights in blue. Do not become a road hazard yourself!!! At each entry point a motorcycle cop was parked on the grassy island but the idiot motorcycle cop at the Herring Cove entry point parked his stupid fat ass right in the rotary’s lane. Now during rush hour at the rotary, there is a steady stream of traffic headed in from St. Margeret’s Bay Road so you need to be on your toes to find an opening to get into the rotary from Herring Cove in the morning. But this idiot cop is completely obstructing the view of the incoming traffic. I almost have my front end tore off because I have to pretty much guess when I have an opening to enter, not to mention everyone’s hesitation was backing up Herring Cove road for a couple kilometres. Not to mention traffic in the circle have to veer around this wall of stupid. You fucking idiot, follow the example of the other more intelligent officers on your team during peak traffic time and station yourself out of the way.
—Wishes he could write cop a ticket…

it’s now called a ROUNDABOUT, which prompts me to say, in a roundabout sort of way, you’re a wee wee stain on the diaper of daily driving.
Do we still call that thing over in dartmouth a rotary? remember when people tried calling it ‘the cloverly’ initially? Man, that sucked.
Dartmouth was smart, got rid of theirs and put in a Parclo. Halifax (and Council) as usual are behind.
Only a Brit or European would call our rotary a roundabout.
Dartmouth doesn’t have a rotary, only a Par-clo is left in it’s place. That’s short for partial cloverleaf.
Cops are just like regular folk……sometimes pretty stupid.
And yes you could go up to that cop and ask for the ticket book and write him/her up, but you’d need to know the violation code and number of that particular act of stupid. I’m sure the cop would help you out with filling out the ticket, they are always so eager to do good and help folks out.
That place is a mess. Forget about the new rules….just drive we have been like always.
