I admit I haven’t tried that hard, but in the couple months I’ve lived in Halifax, I still haven’t found a nice D&D group to settle in with. Wearing my D20 ring out & about has gotten a couple cute questions, but nothing more promising than that. Ok, sometimes I’ll need to be reminded what happened in the last session, and I might ask you why you’re talking like that, but I promise I’ll also bake some treats. —I Hit It With My Axe

Sometimes when I’m out on my Balcony late at night, I can hear a group of D&D players throwing their +10 axes around, and bellowing like drunk Dwarves. Then they exit to their balcony to have a smoke break and get high. You should get a hold of those guys, they sound like they’re having fun, or they could at least point you to another group.
I’m always open to new players, OP (especially when they promise baked goods :P). Send me an email at orgmastron@gmail.com and we’ll see what we can do.

D&D players, while more social than some reclusive gamers, are often not the most outspoken folks. Makes it tough to find a group, I feel you. You looking for 4e? We tend to 3.5e, books are tougher to come by but most of the people I play with swear by it. Haven’t played 4e myself but from all I know it wasn’t really an improvement in the aspects of the game we enjoy.
While we don’t D&D, my group plays a whole ton of different rpgs. We’re always looking for more players too! Drop me a line at sixthsomatic@gmail.com if you’re interested in maybe playing something a little different =D
Hey, I too am looking for a gaming group. My roommate thought that it was me who posted in the Coast. If you don’t have any luck with the other folks who’ve posted in this section(in fact I may get a hold of them as well) feel free to send me a few words. I’d be potentially into DM ing if we found a few others. johnsebastianpalmer@gmail.com.
Cheers
hey everyone, I’m the OP. thanks for your responses, I’ll be in touch with some of you! I had included my email address in the original letter, but it was edited out.
I haven’t been playing long & I’m not a “serious” gamer by any means, but adventuring in the collective imagination is the dopest hobby ever.
& to answer the question above, I’ve only played 3.5 but I’m down to play whatever edition 🙂

I ran 4ed. But we tend to be 3.5 or atm Call of Cthulhu 1920’s era, maybe into Pathfinder soon.
