This is more advice than a bitch. People, if you’re standing at a customer service counter and there is a little bell for service and you don’t see anyone around, please ring the bell. We are probably out back folding napkins or washing the ceilings or some other mind-numbing chore, and we would love the interaction. It makes us sad to happen by and see that you’ve been standing there for 5 minutes probably, just waiting. Just ring the bell! You won’t bother us…that’s what we’re getting paid for!

Yeah, I read it twice looking for the bitch and all I found was a friendly invitation by someone actually wanting to help me at the counter. Huh…kinda twilight zoney. I’ll ring the shit out of that thing next time I’m in your coffee shop.
I always ring the bell…it’s delightful. I’ll even ring if the salesperson is right there….just because I like ringing bells….
