At a certain grocery store on Quinpool people love to take carts from the store and then leave them all over the parking lot – even taking them to the nearby apartment buildings. I even saw one left blocking a DISABLED space. Are you that lazy that you can’t walk an empty cart back to the store entrance, or just inconsiderate of others? —Thanks for fouling up so many parking spaces

  1. “Are you that lazy that you can’t walk an empty cart back to the store entrance, or just inconsiderate of others? “

    Asked, and answered, Counsellor.

  2. Why ever would this be of issue to you? Damn, who cares. I once saw a shopping cart chained to a pole in the north end. I suppose Shopping Cart Shirley was ‘parking’ her ride for the following day. How low does life have to get to be clanking about the city in search of junk.

  3. They are taken over by entrepreneurs. You see them all over our great city on recycling days. Carts are not cheap. All grocery stores should do the same thing. Pay for the use of the cart, get your loonie back when you bring the cart back.

    Yours truly.

  4. Some parking lots have so many handicap stalls they are never fully used. Now that is lazy and wasteful.
