Forty-two minutes and no food. Four other couples served ahead of us and seated after us. I have no idea what the food is like, it looked nice but never got any at our table. Kind of like looking at photos in a recipe book. What a joke, never again. —Not Fed Up

LS, I do like your bitchin. It’s just that sometimes your mind bogglingly contradictory statements are harder to digest when not buffered by something not, um, retarded. i says them as i sees them. and i try not to hold back. it just wouldn’t be me.but what i said earlier goes. and if o.p., doesn’t like waiting, then they would blow a head gasket at bevs in stewiacke. fuck, 45 minutes is nothing there. if you get a hot hamburg sandwich, they have to raise the cow, kill it, process the meat, then cook the motherfucker, all the while waiting for the onions and potatoes to grow. and we won’t go there about the size of place. it has about 6 tables and 4 people working there.
don’t believe me, check it out sometime. more would probly know the place i mean. good food, but holy sweet fuck, it takes forever to get to you. good thing that time stands still there.

if you ordered a souffle then this would be perfectly acceptable.

42 minutes isn’t that terrible… unless you could have got it from mcDicks/wendy’s/etc…

I don’t think 42 minutes is that unreasonable at a decent (non-chain) restaurant. It sucks that others that came after were served first, but like someone else said, some items take longer than others. The only way to find out what is causing the so-called “delay” is to ask your server.
The wait staff should’ve swung by and asked if you needed another beverage and when you asked about the delay they would’ve explained that REAL food takes time, or tell you to fuck off – depends which year they graduated from NSCAD.
I suspect you went the passive/aggressive route and mumbled and ate your food, when it finally arrived, and tipped the usual 15/20%?
WHile I won’t say the resturants out here are the fastest in the world, the pub fare & the cafe in Elmsdale & the older resturants out in Shubie & Stewiak are a bit laid back … & people take a bit more time smelling the flowers (or manure if its early in the season) out here.
But its worth the wait IMO… its not like your going to miss the bus if they take a bit more time gettin’ to ya L O L ~;)
