hey idiot, they also sent out reports saying that people had a certain time to get any unnuetered dogs licensed for 10$. and you cannot get a dog neutered before 6 months so puppies still go for the same price.

I agree, if you can’t afford a dog and all the expenses that come with it, which are often unexpected, THEN YOU SHOULDN’T OWN ONE! I am sick of people owning dogs and not properly taking care of them. Neuter it, get it’s needles, clip it’s nails, buy it the good food, and get his check ups and shut up.
The issue in the original bitch was that it didn’t make sense to have to pay more for an unneutered puppy, since they can’t be neutered until 6 mo. The bitcher was complaining about what they saw as a dumb policy. There is no indication that they owner did not intend to neuter their puppy, or register it, or take care of it properly. It was a political bitch, not an animal care bitch. This OP should have left a comment in the relevant thread where that detail would have been more evident.
i see the original bitcher’s point too. the purpose of the reduced fee is to give people a good reason to fix their dogs and control the pet population. this by-law says that you need to get your dog licensed within 10 days of acquiring same. so if you get your puppy licensed before it’s old enough to get fixed, then aside from morals, there’s no rush to get the dog fixed until the license runs out at the end of the year. i mean people bitch about the price of gas despite the problems fossil fuels cause, then why would you accuse the original bitcher of being a bad dog owner for griping about a silly surcharge which is intended to promote proper dog care but by the way it’s set up gives no incentive (other than morals) to get their dogs fixed until the license expired. kate and the responder here should review bitches carefully before they respond to them
