Hey you with your orange security t-shirt and red pick up truck. My son and I went to the parking lot of the Park on Saturday because he wanted to show me how well he could handle a car (like any young guy hyped about getting his license). I thought the grounds to this place was public and that it would be alright to let him strut his stuff in the empty parking lot for a few minutes. There was no one in the near vicinity, except way over at the other end. Nothing appeared to be happening in the venue. After a full 3 minutes of driving and a few donuts we were ready to leave. You came racing over to us and parked behind us. I guess you thought this would make it impossible for us to ‘escape’. You then proceeded to shout at us, and tell me I was just a show off ???. Then you said it was private property. I tried to say that we did not know it was private property and that we were just leaving. You kept on railing and then called me an a**hole several times in front of my son.
Well I can be an unprofessional moron with the best of them; so back at you. Oh, and, Happy belated or is it bregruding Father’s Day to your father, a**hole. —Cranky_Dad

“Security” guards are the worst. I was eating lunch in my car on a Sunday, at the NSCC campus parking lot in woodside. I Wanted a nice view. One minute into eating, I had some pizza faced kid in a dumb uniform tell me I had to leave. Why? It was an empty parking lot paid for with tax dollars. I don’t get the amount of security guards around. We’re drowning in security.
Donuts? You should have offered him some. Security guards loves donuts.
How well he could handle a car? If your newly licensed (soon to be licensed?) kid was showing off for you in a parking lot we can imagine what he will be doing to impress his friends. You win Father of the Year, again!
If you’re talking about the Ex Park, it is privately owned so you were in the wrong. Them’s the facts, sir.
You should have rolled up the window and ignored him, he’s a security guard FFS, which is dweeb for “hall monitor”. I have just as much authority in a citizen’s arrest as they do. I was parked in the fire lane at a superstore, in the middle of February, waiting for da wife to buy bus tickets and I hear a tap tap tap on my window. Here’s this 18 year old security guard letting me know I’m in a fire lane. I said thanks and rolled up the window. He tapped once more and left, then da wife came back and we laughed and laughed. Sue me, I’m an asshole.
Why would you think this wasn’t private property, and that you were entitled to use it however you pleased? Heads up – shopping malls, grocery stores, movie theatres – also all private property, including their parking lots.
You were doing donuts with your kid? What a role model.
Can’t wait until the little shit gets his license and shows his friends his Good Dad Approved donut skills. Fucktard.
BTW, my dad took me to an empty parking lot and taught me how to parallel park.
Mr. Devil’s Advocate here. Security guards are mostly just people who needed a job and applied for work at a place they saw hiring online. Everyone needs a paycheque. Some have gone to school for this type of thing and also needs jobs. Not everyone has the aptitude/ability to be a Police officer and police can’t be everywhere at once.
I was never struck by the censor Nazi until lol WOW

Furious, if he was 18, he wasn’t a guard. On private property a guard has the same rights as an owner and can remove people from said property.
Just because taxpayers paid for a property does not mean the public can go on it or treat it any way they wish.
Donuts are not that high on the driving skills list, cranky dad. If you weren’t such an azzhole, you would have explained that to your son.
I don’t know exactly you how old he was, being in my mid fortview anyone under 25 looks like they’re 18. Maybe next time I’ll will out my badge and gun, and “card” the fuck out of him. Ya putz!
I regret my use of the term “pizza face”. My apologies to anyone suffering from acne. The guy was still a shit though.
