He stole my heart. I thought he was the one for me but now I see the feelings were never mutual. The attraction he had for me was purely physical but he put on a good show for a man who said he never wanted to break my heart.
It’s been more than two months since I’ve heard from him and I’ve been coping with the mixed up feelings. I didn’t understand what happened, why all of a sudden he disappeared.
I heard the other day he has a girlfriend and I almost broke down. I was in love this man forever, blinded by feelings and couldn’t see what was right in front of me. Why did I give him so much time if he never gave it in return?
I didn’t lose my composure… I started picking up the pieces and truly moving on with my life as I should have done a long time ago. I won’t stop living or loving, because life is too short. I will not allow this to ruin meb ecause I’ve been through much worse. What I will do is learn from my mistake and keep bettering myself as a person.
I’m at peace with you, wherever you are. I don’t hold grudges, they are far too heavy. May you find happiness though I wish it could have been with me. I believe that is your loss because I am an amazing woman and lover. If you ever need to find me it should be easy… you’re welcome here but be prepared for some questions. —fun sized moxie

Glad to see you’re past the hatred and holding grudges, life is short and one can’t waste a moment of it, certainly not for hating…If everyone who broke up or got divorced would stop to think that being kind and tried to be friends with each other, then this world would have a lot more smiling faces. Trust me, I see so many people every day who look miserable. When two people can sit down and rationally work things out it would mean only lawyers faces would look miserable. There are no guarantees in this life.
Your correct Klyde, there are no guarantees in this life. When your not weighed down from carrying resentment and hatred from your past, it’s easier to get out of bed in the morning to begin each day with a sense of renewal and positivity.
It’s not to say that people want relationships to go sour, it just does from time to time, and sometimes it hurts, really HURTS. To hold hatred and grudges is simply holding a lot of baggage in ones heart.
This really this sounds more like a post for the other column, it mostly from one perspective, based on multiple assumptions, fueled by delusion insecurity and a huge ego
You’re welcome here but be prepared for some questions??
Wuut??
So… this user is welcome back because you can’t get over the fact that you’re a booty call? Talk about manufactured reality.
He used you. And you’re fully prepared to let him do it again. My sympathy is minimal.
It’s sounding like you are are assuming and speaking from a bias sexist perspective, you can’t come to those conclusions merely because you/someone you know had similar experiences >TheGreatBatshit.
Nobody would do that sort of thing to me because if i discovered someone i cared about was using me, i’d ditch them. I don’t mind being used if i’m getting something of equal or greater value back. Hell, the booty call is a wonderful relationship. But not if one person thinks it’s more than that. Then it’s just sad and has to end because it’ll just keep hurting more and more.
It doesn’t make him a bad guy. It makes him a user. At least.. if he knew how she felt and exploited that to get some cheap sex out of it. If he wasn’t aware of how much she cared, then it’s not even his fault.
But yeah, it’s happened to others i care about. And if they keep going back my sympathy for them is minimal too.
Self-respect is key to a happy life. Op deserves way better than what she’s getting from this fool.
But op can i just say that dating is NOT the same as a relationship. I myself will date several people at once (when single – i’m not right now) It’s called playing the field and it’s perfectly acceptable as long as you’re practicing safe sex and treating your various partners medically carefully.
People date. It’s what they do. And when they find that special someone, then they commit in a way that is mutually beneficial to them.
Is it possible op that this guy DID really like you but met someone, and dated someone, he liked more? And decided, out of his options, to commit to her instead?
If this is the case, neither of you did anything wrong and you’re right. It’s time to get over it.
