“Please do not leave donations outside.” Seems pretty self-explanatory to me but the lot of you who were having a sidewalk garage sale thought it made sense to dump your leftover items in the front of the store. The sign in clear display. Very disrespectful ya idiots! —Holla Day

THEY ARE ONLY STUPID HUMANS.
OP, if you are one of those people that put their garbage in the back of my pick up truck when I’m at the mall, you deserve what you are getting.
Second hand stores have very little overhead. They make almost 100% profit off their stuff, because it’s all donated and cost them nothing. Must be nice. You want the free stuff to turn around and sell, then get off your ass and go get it from outside. Beggars can’t be choosers. And you’re disrespectful…lower your prices. A second hand dress that you paid nothing for, should not be 20 dollars, fuckers. Should be more like 3 bucks.
Thinking about how their actions affects others isn’t in the DNA of too many people OP. You should know that by now.
troodon, drives me crazy, it pervades every area. One shouldn’t live one’s life FOR others, and shouldn’t bend to others’ opinions, but to give and expect courtesy and personal space.
@no_fool: second-hand stores still have to pay rent, taxes, and employee salaries. It’s not 100% profit, otherwise everyone would be getting into the second-hand store business. Most of what people donate is garbage which will never sell, thus the onus of getting rid of it is on the store owner rather than the person who just didn’t want to deal with disposing their own trash. But, hey, you know the ins and outs of entrepreneurship so well, I guess you already know all this.
