For your information the Tim Hortons coffee cups ARE biodegradable now. I work at a Tim Hortons and made a special point to find out if they are biodegradable. A little while ago they weren’t but now they are.
P.S: if there were a wax coating inside the cup, you would be drinking some pretty shitty fucking coffee.
Extra P.S: especially for you Jenn why don’t you find a new hobby instead of bitching and whining about people at the bus stop or get a car you welfare recipient. You’re a drain on society and reading your bullshit simply depresses me you waste of human existence!

From the Tim’s website:”Tim Hortons is always researching alternative packaging materials, particularly those that are recyclable and/or biodegradable.”Note: Research does not mean it is happening now.According to NOW magazine:”Tim Hortons cups have no recycled content, but the company is looking into trading in its plastic (PET) lining for a biodegradable corn-based one. Truth is, even if they wanted to make the switch today, there wouldn’t be enough bio cups to meet the demand.”So Kevin, both of these are recent publications so it seems like you’ve been fed some false info from your employer along with some very nasty coffee. I have never lived in a city that litters as much as Halifax does- biodegradable or not, people have no excuse for being slobby, lazy pigs and tossing their trash on the ground. Only in Halifax does someone get called a “waste of human existance” and a “welfare recipient” by a Tim Horton’s employee- I certainly hope the salary they pay you will keep you from needing the food bank one day!You might think Jen needs a hobby, but you need some anger-management Kevin!
Well Hooray for Tim Hortons providing bio-degradable coffee cups, but that doesn’t excuse the fact that the ground is NOT where they belong! And I think the hostility against Jenn is a bit unnecessary! I take huge offense to the “get a car you welfare recipient. You’re a drain on society…” remark. Have fun slinging coffee, loser
Wow, calling someone a welfare recipient. There’s class. Have you seen her tax returns to know if she’s on it or not? My guess is not. Here’s a clue, loser: not everyone on the bus is poor. I myself take it for other reasons than “no money”. I have a car. I choose not to drive it during certain times, mainly to avoid jerks like you.
I do find it so hilarious that a Tim Horten’s coffee slinger is looking down their nose at someone else…does minimum wage really make you feel THAT superior to others? He must make really great tips there to act as snooty as he does…but it seems unlikely given his disposition, attitude like that doesn’t win you much gratitude. Way to go Kevin, you really are a perfect example of undue and undeserved persnicketyness! She was only wanting people to stop littering and you go and open up the ignorance guns on her…you are so cool, I bet all the other Tim Horten employees want to be you.
I could care less if they degrade, throw your garbage in the garbage can. Tim Horton’s sucks anyway, Kevin.
Maybe he’s a high roller: I hear their managers make a sweet 9 bucks an hour. Thats a job full of pride.
Merry Christmas Kevin, go give someone a hug. FYI, TH coffee is shitty regardless of the cup it’s served in and biodegradeable or not the ground is not where it belongs.
I must deffend myself here….That was the first “bitch” I ever made on this site…You must be mistaking me for another Jenn…that’s alright though.secondly…the cups have wax on the outside…not the inside…I worked at a tim hortons as well.
oh wait, MY MISTAKE…It isn’t the first bitch I’ve made.regardless Kevin, you’re overly hostile. For the record, I’m not on welfare. I’m pretty broke because of university, but that’s expected.I hope your holidays get better.
edit again: I read waht you wrote wrong about posting somethign else…you never even said that….regardless…I still made my point.
