No, it really does. Something about rain makes me warm and cozy. Its nice to just relax with a cat and a cup of tea, and not have to worry about the 100 other things I have to do. So while some complain about it, I’m truly happy.

  1. I like to listen to the rain at night while I am lying in bed–especially the skin-peeling, ricochet off the pavement type rain that announces its arrival with a tremendous boom. It makes me feel cozy.

  2. The air also feels so good after the rain – clean, heavy, fresh. Also, sometimes after weeks of sunny hot weather, my eyes feel tired (like the 3-4 weeks in August of 30 C) and the rain is a relief. Plus I don’t have to water the lawn!
