They were doing their jobs. Unfortunately the dispensary was still breaking the law. Do you like every part of your job, OB?
Dumb Auntie shouldn’t of proclaimed to the world that she was breaking the law. Nobody likes the current weed laws, but until the laws change, Auntie must obey. It’s one thing to do what she was doing on the down low, but to come out publicly? She forced the cops hand.
She should be fined just for being stupid.
The reason for public acknowledgment of dispensing to those without a license is to challenge the present law and Auntie stepped up to take this on.
Last I saw, it was full of kids…
Theft? What she was doing was illegal. Yes, it might change soon, but it’s still illegal for now. And who knows, it might not even change (*cough* electoral reform *cough*).
KODA, spare me that nonsense. If you’re making money, a saint you are not. Yeah, okay, she “challenged” the current laws, woopdeedoo. Prohibition on weed will end soon enough. All she did was hurt the people who actually depend on her services.
I might note that it was Prnice Justin who said a) he’d change the laws around pot and b) instructed police forces to enact current laws.
It’s illegal because it can’t be controlled and anyone can grow it.
Meaning they can’t track and tax it for revenue! Otherwise they would have legalized it a long time ago.
Let’s look at it logically. Alcohol is more destructive and addictive, so is tobacco. Not everyone can grow tobacco nor produce alcohol, hence it can be controlled and taxed for revenue, which makes it legal. In reality those should be more illegal than pot considering the major health problems they cause. Let’s not forgot both tobacco and alcohol have been linked to cancer.
At the end of the day, no matter what the battle is, if the outcome doesn’t produce $$$, it will remain illegal.
Fuck it, just smoke some Spice or K2. Hahahahaha.
If you’re stupid enough to shout out and plaster the media that you are going to willingly break the law, you shouldn’t be surprised when you get busted. Stupid is as stupid does.

Some of the commentators on here must hate people(icons) like Rosa Parks or the Viola Desmonds of the past who have went out of their way to make a very good point. Breaking bad laws needs to happen in order to FIX THE PROBLEM said law has created.

I don’t agree with the prohibition of weed. I don’t believe what Auntie did was wrong, but i do think what she did was stupid. There’s many other ways to go about challenging the law. If she really gave a shit about her cause, she would of found a better way. She did it for the thing we all do stuff for, money. Viola Desmond didn’t make a dime for challenging foolish segregation laws.

Let me fix it for you….To a lady who is standing up to an unjust law that ruins lives for absolute no reason at all!!!
Compared to a lady standing up to Social Injustices is a great comparison since handing someone a criminal record and/or locking them in prison with violent offenders/killers IS IN FACT and injustice to society as a whole.
