Why every morning do you feel the need to push past me onto the bus? It is never full and there are always many, many seats available. The next time you attempt to muscle your way past me I am going to forget I am a grown woman with morals and values and push you into oncoming traffic.

  1. People push by because they’re most likely waiting for you to dig through your change, counting each penny for the fare. If not and you’ve got either tickets or a pass, then they’re being douches.

  2. There a moron at my bus stop who does that as well. There is, at most, only five other people on the bus at this point. But, he feels the need to rush ahead of everyone else to get on the bus first. And, if he is not the first one on, he actually starts complaining. Asshole, no one is going to steal your seat, so fuck off!

  3. This drives me insane at the Darmouth Bridge terminal. There are always little old ladies, and middle aged women who think that life is going to end if they don’t get on the bus and sit in the front, so they push and shove in front of you, when you’re just standing there calmly for the doors to open.

  4. Dr. F has a point. Why can’t people have their bus fare ready when they get on the bus? Some of us have transfers to make, people, and some drivers won’t move until either you put your money/ticket in the fare box or you show them your pass, or get the fuck OFF the bus, so hurry the hell up already!

Is it REALLY that hard to have your two bucks picked out, your ticket torn off the sheet or your pass in hand? Frig.
