I so agree with you…it is getting to a point where something has to be done…where are the police and why aren’t they walking the streets especially with all this going on? Can’t figure that one out…These kids are nothing but cowards with apparently nothing else to do, it is sad when when all they have to do is lower themselves to senseless violence on innocent people….
I totally agree….there is something wrong with the young offenders act, they know they will face no time and get away with anything..i seriously think things would change if these “punks” knew they would have to face time for their crime, which we all know they never do…something has to change..
Halifax used to be such a safe city to walk around, even late at nite, not so anymore…too bad, thanks to the scum of the earth that have nothing better to do but beat up on innocent people, which i might add is so brave…not… i repeat, get jobs and a life like everyone else….
hmm.. i agree, there are too many gangster assholes in the city, but sending all these kids to adult prison will only ensure that their lives never change, they learn better ways to steal/hurt/ whatever their victims.. rehabilitation, learning, getting them involved in trades, hobbies, etc, is the only thing that will turn some lives around. Lets face it, if your homelife is horrible, you grow up poor in an area where that is what everyone else does, it’s clearly going to have a HUGE influence on how you act, how lazy you are, whether or not you have hobbies, etc… these kids need a chance to be shown they’re potential and what they are good at, not just thrown in jail with people who have a life of crime behind them.
