  1. i would have figured it out as soon as i saw that the proceeds were going to MADD. who would think that they would ever have anything to do with the blatant abuse of alcohol.to the person who was ripping these Pub Crawlers off- USE A BETTER CHARITY!

  2. You know, you don’t have to tell MADD where the money came from in order to donate. It’s not like everyone’s going on this pub crawl to support a charity. They would have had nothing to gain by lying. Most people going on the pub crawl would have paid $20 just for the fun of it, and I’m sure for everyone that wouldn’t have (both of them) there are still more than enough willing to take their place. I don’t give a fuck how nice the guy’s sportscar is that’s running the event, nor do I care who he gives it to. If I cared if my $20 went to MADD, I’d give my $20 to MADD.

  3. The guy wasnt scamming anyone. He was organizing an event to make it into the Guinness Book of Records. The $20 was to cover ticket printing, tshirts and the grand organization of the thing but it was never TO MAKE MONEY. Watch the news once in a while, sheesh. The poor guy thought it would be nice to DONATE whatever extra money there was after expenses to a worthy cause. I understand exactly why MADD doesnt accept donations from any event where one of the main purposes is drinking. Most people are participating to participate, not because they thought the money was “going to something”.
