You people protesting scienctology have no right.
It’s a religion. You should respect peoples religions no matter how silly, or harmfull you thin they are. Would you go to a mosque and protest islam? or would you protest homosexuals? no, you’d be commiting a hate crime, so what is the differance?

Christianity has its flaws, remeber the crusades? or more recently the sexual abuse? but your not protesting that because frankly people would not stand for your sign infront of their church.

your protesting sciencetology because its small and bookish. Oh and because your being jaded and ignorant. Your being hatefull towards somthing you cannot understand. Im not fond of religion, In fact I find it barberic. but I keep my distance from it, and respect it and all of those who belive in it. and that makes me a better person then you and your hate mongering on the street corner. —Bad grammer

  1. Isn’t there anything people can find that’s more worthwhile to protest!? These hate-mongerers should all stay home and read a book and they might learn something!

  2. The Church of Scientology is a big fucking tumour on the landscape of kook religions. They use private detectives, rumour, lies and slander, and threats to get people to shut up.

In fact, go to Operation Clambake, at http://www.xenu.net/, and you can read all about this “religion”. All of their private documents are in there too. You know, you have to spend more and more money to move “up” the levels of Scientology.
If someone at level 2 reads something from level 3, it’s a very bad thing.
Hey, level 2, here’s something L Ron Hoover wrote himself:——————————————————–
    The head of the Galactic
    Confederation (76 planets around
    larger stars visible from here)
(founded 95,000,000 yrs ago, very space opera)
    solved overpopulation (250 billion
or so per planet) — 178 billion
    average) by mass implanting.
He caused people to be brought to
Teegeeack (Earth) and put an H Bomb
on the principal volcanoes (Incident 2)
and then the Pacific area ones
were taken in boxes to Hawaii
and the Atlantic Area ones to
    Las Palmas and there “packaged.”
His name was Xenu. He used
    renegades. Various misleading
data by means of circuits etc.
    were placed in the implants.
When through with his crime Loyal Officers
    (to the people) captured him
    after 6 years of battle
and put him in an electronic
    mountain trap where he still
is. “They” are gone. The place (Confed.)
    has since been a desert.

The Church of Scientology can take a long hard suck on my arse.
And it’s Scientology, not “Sciencetology”, dumbass.
And homosexuality is not a religion.

  3. This is Canada, we have the right to protest so fuck off and take that fag Tom with you.

Wonder how the OB likes me now. Oh right I don’t give a shit.

  4. “sciencetology because its small and bookish.”

I’m understanding that this Scientology is small and bookish. Hmm, how quaint! I’ve never heard a religion described this way. I wonder what kind of small books they own, The Book of Small, or are they teeny tiny, maybe they are just half editions of the Bible…a biblette??? Are their parishioners small and bookish? Are they Lilliputians from Lilliput?

  5. even though i think scientologists are whack jobs no way would this go over in front of say a … synagogue

  6. A synagogue is for a legitimate practice of religion. The “Church of Scientology” is a money-making scheme.

  7. i’m a “fall’n” catholic and even i know that all religion involves money generating shemes; tything etc. who gives who the right to decide what’s legitimate and what’s a scam

  8. Charter of rights and freedoms says I have the right to protest YOUR religion. Don’t bullshit me, i know you’re one of those scientology freaks upset that a few people were turned off from your religion and you couldn’t defraud them of money. Fuck scientology, fuck your pathetic spelling, and fuck you OP.

  9. Scientology is one of the biggest scams going, OP, are you that fucking feeble minded to follow a cult that worships Tom Cruise? L. Ron Hubbard himself believed religion could make big bucks off of suckers like you. You’d be better off flogging yourself with a couple of snapping turtles.

  10. I just wanted to point out that peaceful protest is not a crime and therefore protesting against religion or homosexuality (stupid analogy by the way) can’t be a hate crime.

People protest against organized religion all the time… just look at the people protesting against the catholic priests and all their troubles.

  11. when the supreme alien commander comes to take you in 2011, i will for one, be so fucking happy.

  12. When you refer to “sciencetology” as being “small and bookish’ I presume you are referring to the immense contribution made to world literature by the late L.Ron Hubbard?

  13. All religion has flaws…… wait a sec, religion IS a flaw period. Although at least Scientology includes the extra-terrestrials.

  14. So Johnno, even though sciencetology sucks the thetans out of a dead hack writer’s ass, did you ever make it to a certain Portugeuse restaurant?

  15. ======I just wanted to point out that peaceful protest is not a crime and therefore protesting against religion or homosexuality (stupid analogy by the way) can’t be a hate crime.======

    *Very* stupid analogy.

Having your own (wrong) opinion about gays isn’t a hate crime, it’s the legal/physical expression of it that is. (see:Matthew Shepard)

======People protest against organized religion all the time… just look at the people protesting against the catholic priests and all their troubles.======

Um, they’re protesting the poor priests fucking children. I would say the ones with “all their troubles” are the people dealing with the aftermath of these horrible actions by these priests. Oh, and the way the church showed it’s support for the raping of children by doing nothing to punish or censure these child raping men.

Just admit it: the Church of Scientology is a money-making scheme.
I like Frank Zappa’s lampoon of them with “The Church of Applied Appliantology, with L Ron Hoover” on the Joe’s Garage album. Check it out. You’ll like it. It’s a way of life.
    R.I.P. Frank

  16. Scientology isn’t a religion. It’s a social club for deluded fools who want to part with a lot of their money at best, it’s a money-making fraud machine at its worst. Of course, religions generally are like that, but Scientology is so obviously an utter fraud that it deserves lots of attention.

  17. This is all considering that Hubbard himself often took trips out on his boat, and fiddled little boys.

France just recently tossed them out on their ass, because they don’t feel that they’re a real religion. It makes sense too, because they operate out of the US where they maintain a tax-free status, so French citizens are tossing over cash, with little to no direct benefit to the community. The Scientologists are now attempting to sue the French government to get back in the country under “freedom of religion”. This is the country that was ballsy enough to tell Muslims that they couldn’t wear head coverings.

  18. thanks wheely…they’re will be zappa for tunes today…see south park for my views on religion gohabsgo

  19. Clearly Sarkozy has brought some much needed testosterone to the Elysee Palace. No more making jokes about the proud french tri-couleur being a field of white, flanked by two fields of white.
    Vive le Legion Etrangere!

  20. People can and will protest about whatever they want to – including quasi-religions

  21. Top it off with a sidgen of womanizing and he’s the French version of Clinton. Except his wife is waaaaaay hotter.

I heard the UK is about to revoke their tax-free status there too because they have tings like “business models” and Dianetics specifically generates profit.

Couple this with reduction in membership because people know what they’re getting into, and you’ve got one unhappy tax-free scheme.

  22. Ivan… no, not yet! I will, however make it my aim within the next couple of months to do so. I wonder if I go during the World Cup they’ll be playing the Portugal-Brazil match. Now that would be a fun night. The best of both worlds- delicious authentic food and Brazilians/Portuguese kicking the shit out of each other. Hard to pick a winner in that one. As long as Ronaldo gets his face slapped around, I’m a neutral.

  23. L Ron Hubbard told EVERYONE THAT ” if you really want to make money, you don’t go about it writing for a living at a penny a word, you do something like start a religion” ! ! !
He was actually published commenting this before he even started Scientology…the fact that none of the ‘believers’ get the joke is for me personally, even funnier !

& please some of you…comparing religions against each other for validity…is like measuring IQ’s to buy someone a hat .
    Fucking waste of time ! ! !

  24. you think this is bad… just wait until we get closer to 2012.
when the crazies are losing their shit, this board is going to light up.

  25. I was the protester who was punched in the face that brought this post on. We do not hate Scientologists or their beliefs. We oppose their illegal practices, human trafficking, systematic physical abuse, coerced abortions, labor camps, and defrauding the public. The Catholic scandal pales in comparison to the horrors of scientology. Despite all of that, Scientology probably wouldn’t have the problem of ‘anonymous’ if it just let its critics speak freely without harassment or attempts to intimidate.

  26. If they abolished all religions, we’d probably be a world of rainbows, unicorns and edible motorcycle parts.

  27. Jonnoman
All religion has flaws…… wait a sec, religion IS a flaw period.

Religion is not a flaw, and mine doesn’t have any. I practice an obscure religion, and there aren’t any flaws that I can point out.

  28. I heard the dalai lama interviewed by that smarmy little nonce on CBC (I know, which one ,he he he). He stated, amongst other bits of shambholic wisdom that he’s comfortable with the idea of a one party state as long as it’s run on democratic principles. Of course he is. And I’m 100% committed to a monogamous marriage as long as I get to plonk the plump little 17 year old swedish au-pair a couple of times a week.
He also described himself politically as a Marxist. Really? Then why isn’t he home in Tibet helping his Chinese overlords evolve their version of marxism into something a little less genocidey and concentration campey. Instead of being on vacation for the last 50 years.
Also, since Marx is considered to have made the declaration that “Religion is the opiate of the masses” wouldn’t that tend to make the spiritual leader of the world’s most insufferably self-satisfied religion a …
    druglord?
Freedom FROM religion – Fuckin A.

  29. yes ivan those overlords have had their time…i have much patience for a multitude of stuff, but pious mouthpieces for invisible beings and their sheep can fuck right off

  30. yes luthor but they didn’t ask us to do dirty things to their one-eyed trouser snake, it’s like a breath of fresh air

  31. the dalai lama is a piece of shit.blind fools follow such an enlightened idiot.anybody that follows that shit, well you know how i feel.

  32. the so called leaders of any religion are no better or worse than a CEO of a corp. because that’s basically what they are you buy their product or you don’t

  33. scientology is stupid.’so sue me’ south park summed up what scientology the best as it does with most things.the best speech about how the world really is,is off team america.the ‘dick, pussy, asshole speech’ summed it up perfectly and simply.them two guys are real genuises.

  34. Buddhists don’t see Buddhism as a religion per se, Ivan. They see themselves as a “way of life”, to allow for better living… It’s not as structured (i.e.: no official gatherings, you only practice to attain Nirvana, but really in the end it doesn’t matter)as most of the Jewish-Christian-Islam triumvirate, which Marx was alluding to in that passage. Actually, he was probably referring to the Lutherans, which obviously were quite influential in Prussia at the time.

But that argument is entirely semantic in nature really.

  35. I give them the same credit I give every faith based belief system. Probably a few kernels of commonsense amidst all the voodoo but things turn real pear-shaped once you work humans into the mix. Thanks for the info, though. But religious or spiritual leaders involving themselves in politics is nearly always a bad thing looking to get worse real fast.

  36. I agree, but we could do worse than having the Dalai Lama going around and preaching peace.

  37. Don’t protest outside of a synagogue. Protest outside of an Israeli consulate instead.

Just be careful of Mossad undercovers. They’ll shoot at you and then make up some wack-job story of a lie to cover themselves.

  38. Could be worse? We recently had about 7 years of George W. Bush talking about peace. Dalai Lama is quite refreshing considering.

  39. whack job story of returning fire to some fuck head coward palistinian who engages a idf defensive position, key words here ‘defensive position’,behind children.

fuckoff with stupid ass comments you left leaning fuck Nice Goin’ Fat

  40. you make peace shit beg you don’t beg for it.bush down well.he had the balls to do something, bring the fight to the enemy.you would keep begging for peace while your enemy continued to take ground, then when you had no more ground you would say something stupid like thats not fair.read some history inform yourself and then you will come to realize what stupid comments you are making.

  41. Learn how to write a proper sentence before saying that someone has stupid ass comments, bub.

And a Palestinian has more guts than you do. Now go hug your copy of the Bible and hope the brown people don’t get’cha!

  42. The Dalai Lama isn’t living comfortably off the suffering of the Tibetan people, Sixxes, six or whatever the hell your name is today. Give me proof of that. The only thing he’s trying to do is spread knowledge about Buddhism and end the Chinese occupation of Tibet, which has been universally condemned, but we don’t do a damn thing about because China is the linchpin in globalization.

Secondly, Bush had no balls. He invaded 2 countries that the US had been installing leaders and providing weaponry to to destabilize the area. He was only doing what was politically prudent. They needed a target to bomb after 9/11, so they went after Afghanistan. When they found that the Taliban had them beat because of superior knowledge of the terrain, combined with their inability to counter the methods that the Taliban employed (tactics I might add that they used in the early 80’s taught to them by the CIA to defeat the Russians), they picked a softer target, but still a rouge state, which happened to be Iraq. Knowing full well that after years of the trade embargoes, the joke that was the Oil for Food program, that a majority of the Iraqi forces wouldn’t pose much of a threat. They rolled over them in a very short period of time, killed Saddam, and occupied the nation. That’s a win alright. There’s no honour in bullying a state that cannot defend itself, just because daddy didn’t finish the job and the son didn’t get his way in a “just” war. So he kicked the dog that was Baghdad, just like the child he was.

  43. “I give them the same credit I give every faith based belief system.”

Sonofabitchova must go nuts with you following her around everywhere/interrogating her constantly.

  44. A Druid is what we call the high priests in my religion.
It’s one of the three religious occupations.

My form of Paganism, in a nutshell: I worship multiple deities. I have eight major holidays, on the Winter and Summer Soltices, and the Spring and Fall Equinoxes, and the mid-way points between them.
The way I celebrate them, is by having bonfires, and singing hymns.

  45. SOBova has the most commonsense attitude to religion and politics of anyone I know. Complete and utter disinterest. Don’t get her going on cults, though. Especially Lord Xenu’s children. And Ivan learned the downside of interrogations long ago. Ask a question; you’re going to have to listen to the answer.
