I think it’s interesting and curious police use tax dollars to develop and deliver a television advertisement encouraging the general public to report illegal tobacco activity witnessed in their communities. I’ve NEVER seen such a move to battle crime (in this way) with regard to meth, cocaine, speed nor any other illegal or controlled drug. The news reports illegal tobacco busts in terms of ‘unrealized tax dollars’ rather than ‘estimated street value’ as they do with any other drug bust they report. One would think the priorities would be shuffled differently where ‘unrealized tax’ consequences of crime are up against things like ‘victims of homicide’ and things like that. I just think priorities are a little screwy when you count the number of missing people and homicides they could focus ‘advertising dollars’ on instead.

I did not see this commercial. I am surprised that the Government has shown it’s true colors. It was and is all about the money, forget the people. Politics is a business and like any business it is about making money not delivering goods and/or services. Money that is it $
