With ‘BAD BOY’ tattooed in bold letters and an attitude to match; Tyson Cave has a lot of critics. The fact is I haven’t been to an amateur boxing event in the last few years without seeing the Canadian Champ in attendance. He is usually presenting an award, yelling encouragements from the crowd, and being a true ambassador to the sport. Tyson, you may be hard as fuck – but you can’t hide that you’re a nice guy forever.

I used to frequent the bars a few years back and would constantly see him picking fights with innocent strangers. I saw him and another guy go at it one night outside pizza corner and it was a pretty even fight of shirt grabbing and defense. When it got broken up, I watched him turn and run back at the other guy and punch him square in the back of the head. He fell like a ton of bricks and landed on his face while Tyson stood yelling “WHAT!? I got the KO!”
I’m sorry, but I can’t quite love the guy.
