Ok, i get it, you wanted to show your respects to Mandela. But, I also get that your travel costs were a waste of tax payer money. Federal or provincial, it still comes out of our pockets —feeling like a butt hole sore citizen of NS

  1. Ahahaha he hitched a fucking ride on a plane already going there.

I’d be way more concerned about the over-inflated public service salaries the province pays out and the associated expense claims than the premier hitching a ride on a plane.

  2. I’d have had no problem with every elected official in this country going to Mandela’s funeral. It would have been a very salutary lesson to see the outpouring of reverence for this extraordinary man. Also, there were lessons to be learned from watching Zuma gettting jeered. That kind of experience just can’t be taught at business or law school.

  3. but ok with everyone else going OP? wtf?

now I would have liked to see harper in the ejection seat during a misfire.

  4. Hey, idiot OB, ALL the Premiers were invited, not just McNeil and a few accepted. The plane is already going there and gives the Premier hopefully some time with the PM. I know you hate Stevie but it wouldn’t have mattered who the PM was, they were going to that funeral. It’s normal business.

  5. His whole pay cheques comes out of your pocket. It took you this long to realize how much the taxing and living system in North America is based on the Mafia System. Pay us or we’ll fuck you up. Nothing more, nothing less.

  6. LOL – like Zinoviev, Bukharin, Kamenev, Yagoda, Yezhov, Beria, you just know the cocksucker had it coming.

In local news The “L” Word MLA from Truro has charged HBO with cyberbullying for getting her drunk and nekkid and posting titty pix on the interwebz.
And by HBO what I really mean is a 17 year old high school student.

“N.D.P. – Government of the victim, by the victim, for the victim”

  7. Now, back to the real news…. Bullying?! WHAT A CUNT! Using her power to corner some kid over posting a PUBLIC picture… And so smug on the news last night!

It just strengthens my resolve to stop supporting the NDP… shameful behaviour!

  8. Your comments are noted OB. While I am not sure that I would go to an international funeral for someone who I had never met (no matter who they were) Mr. MacNeil was invited by the PM, had a ride and being on the same plane had a chance to spend time with the PM which given our overall financial dependence on Ottawa is not to be taken too lightly. Just my 2 cents.
