  1. Even a certain local ass-prod lefty newspaper won’t acknowledge them for their Municipal Malfunction featurette:

“we don’t usually deal with potholes and other car-related issues. If it’s especially bad, we’ll consider it, but generally we like to encourage people to take transit or ride a bike or walk, so we’re not big on covering car-related infrastructure problems.”

So unless the front wheel alignment on your hiply ironic solar powered Schwinn fixie is shot, and Hector, your bi-curious illegal immigrant Salvadoran mechanic has been bullied into a depressive state by a satanic cabal of Big Oil, Big Pharma, Lockheed-Martin and a certain former mayor, yer just shit out of luck, pardner.

  2. after all that money we gave them that hasn’t yet been accounted for, it seems to me that they could fix all of them in an afternoon.

  3. We could make pothole repair both a community service project for sticky-fingered ex-M.L.A. trough jockeys and work-fare for the cup rattlers downtown.

  4. let’s roundup all the politicians who spout such nonsense and bury them head down, ass up around hrm to be used as bike racks.

  5. Nova Scotians are allowed to complain about whatever they want be it potholes or the price of milk. I really do not know the best way to tackle the pothole problem without introducing some sort of tax because it is expensive and all too temporary.
The curse of this climate I guess.

  6. 1. Tell the Liberals that the P.C. said the pot holes can’t be fixed because of a lack of public input.

    2. Tell the P.C. that the Liberals said that they can fix the pot holes but we’ll have to delay downtown development projects.

    3. Tell the NDP that the pot holes are on strike (They’ll say it’s a municipal problem and wait for the city to fix them itself).

    RESULT:
Nothing will have changed but you’ll get to hear a bunch of old white men say passive-agressive things to one another.

  7. Haha true. I was always a fan of percy. No real idea what he stood for politically, it was 100% mustache respect.
