Being on strike or being locked out SUCKS. You guys do realize the posties haven’t been getting paid, right? After a week or so, strike pay doesn’t really cut it and won’t put food on the table or pay the rent/mortgage. My dad was on strike a few times and that shit sucked. He was bringing in less money during strikes than all those welfare hoes out there! Cheese and rice people!
I think the OP meant: please sign up for electronic bill payments and e-statements, send more emails, and use couriers such as FedEx, TNT, DHL, Purolator, etc.

A “fair wage,” OP? really? My ex worked for the post office, making $19/hr in 1996 with zero education beyond high school. I think that’s WAY more than “fair.”

Instead of bitching about how much postal workers are making, why not organise? If postal workers make less it does not help everyone else make more, but there are many companies who could afford a better wage should they be given some incentive to pay for it.
