SCHIZOPHRENIA IN COMMON LINGUISTICS?
An interesting philosophical point. If you hate yourself, who is doing the hating? It can’t be you since you are the object of that hate. The source of that hate must lie elsewhere, but where? A similar conundrum is to be found in all reflexive locutions. For example, someone might say, “I was just talking to myself” but if he was doing the talking, who was doing the listening? Is there some schizophrenic element embedded in common linguistics?

But how do you know I don’t hate you? Do you have grounds to support your claim or are you using “know” in some diminished, unannounced sense? In any case the question as to whether or not I hate you is irrelevant to our common goal, the discovery of truth.
