  1. Housecleaning staff are under appreciated. I always leave at least $5 per day that I stay. They’re the ones that do the most work and people take them for granted. It’s nice when you leave your room and when you come back, it’s all clean & tidy. Thank you very much!

  2. Tipping is such bullshit, I wish I lived in a country without that stupid ritual. So many hard jobs with shit pay don’t get tips, do you leave a $5 on top of your green bin for the garbage men? Why not?

  3. Trevor- tipping -it’s a moot point- you wanna know why…cause regardless of where you want to be, WE do it!it is because employer’s, government, and corp’s pay people shit wages that the general public wants to be kind and show their appreciation for the “slaves” oh I mean employees who do these SHIT jobs. I mean if you think of it minimum wages is ALMOST the same as slavery. EXCLUDING the abuse of humanity of course.Proof in point-slavery- these indentured people were given a roof over their heads, food and usually shitty jobs to do. they would never amount to anything because they could not because they were slaves.Minimum wage- provides the employees with POSSIBLY enough money to be able to afford food and if they have a roommate or significant other maybe a roof over their head and of course they provide the employees with the shitty jobs. now people can argue that people have choice through education to better, themselves. but only if they have a foundation, the means and the drive. and even then- society has to have people who do shitty jobs- or we would have shit everywhere!so the solution- people move away to where wages are better. the community declines and then the community can no longer afford to pay even that shitty minimum wage! it just gets worse from there. we need to push our government to push employers to treat their employees as the #1 ASSETS that they are both to the establishment that they are working for but to the community with which they live in.so trevor…I ask you …What are you doing besides bitching about the spare $0.50 you MAY leave behind to prove that you are not cheap?

  4. I agree with everything KJ is saying. if you’re not part of the solution you’re part of the problem…and the people who pick up the green bins and the rest of the garbage and not making less that $10/hr!
