To the countless idiots that insist on wearing all black outfits at night and “J” walking. You, the daft pedestrian may have the right of way, but that isn’t going to bring you back to life when you go bouncing off someone’s hood.
Ps maybe black clothes are in style in the afterlife.
Idiots!!!!!

They also need to stop standing behind poles & trees as well. Make yourselves visible to drivers. While you’re crossing, pay attention! Keep eye contact with drivers and make sure traffic is stopped, in both directions. You may be in a crosswalk, but if one idiot driver isn’t paying attention, you will be the dead one, not the driver. Common sense and a bit of caution will go a long way in making both drivers & pedestrians happy.
This is especially common in the rural areas where there are no sidewalks. Cannot understand why these people can’t slap on a stripe of reflective tape or something so they can be seen. Do they value their lives so little?
Agree with Ellbee. It’s amazing how many people don’t understand this simple concept. I have to drive up Dutch Village Rd. and then Lacewood to get home at night. I can’t tell you how many times I just caught a fleeting glimpse of someone moving in time to stop and save their stupid lives. The lighting is poor, the night is dark, add rain or snow and it’s a nightmare driving that street. Black is cool, but it’s not very cool picking up the pieces of your bodies off the street. Mike is right too. Make eye contact before you cross in a pedX. Your life depends on it.
