What is with you students?! Groceries everyday, and you can’t figure out the reusable bags?!?!? You are all wearing backpacks and the reusable bag could be stored in there, until you get to the store—where you go ever day, which is great! You gotta eat. I’m not sure if i’m alone on this one, but the planet could use less plastic waste. And this is the number-one offender!! Never mind the packaging required to keep shit processed food “fresh.” What a joke. Don’t fret though, just try to remember a bag when you go to the store to buy stuff, ok? —Taylor

  1. ….or how about…….”MINDING YOUR OWN FUCKING BUSINESS PEOPLE!! GET A LIFE YOU TYPICAL USELESS COMPLAINER!”
Maybe try your luck at advocating to ban toothpicks since they are sharp, someone might get killed and they ruin the forests from all the tree cutting to have toothpicks made.
Do you use plastic toothpicks or the wooden ones?
Call the cops next time you see this plastic bag carrying student so you feel better that you saved the environment. ASS HAT!

  2. I use them for the crap my cat leaves behind in his litter box. Every two weeks, you can be assured that there are a dozen of those little bastards wrapped up in yet another plastic bag out at my curbside.

  3. “I’m not sure if i’m alone on this one, but the planet could use less plastic waste.”

In case youre still not sure, it looks pretty much like you are indeed alone on this one…

  4. So the mod deletes my remarks but allows Miz Spits & Fits to flail & spin out of control because of bad choices made.

Scream! Yell! Holler! Shout! Shriek! The world is soooo unfair! I can’t afford a 10 cent plastic bag! A 9 cent mark-up has made that impossible! Scream! Yell! Holler! Shout! Shriek!

  5. “All hail PLASTIC!”

You nasty commenters can take a hike… You all are trying so desperately to defend your wasteful and lazy practices. Just admit that you are shitty human beings who continue the proliferation of plastic and come to terms with the fact that you are part of the problem and NOT even interested in being part of a solution. Your “clean and disposable” life is disgusting. Get a grip.

  6. Legohair, you’ve totally enlightened me with you comments. It’s good to know I can piss you off so easily, I can’t wait for your rebuttal to next weeks bitch! I rarely use toothpicks but when I do I prefer the wood type, and I never wear my ass as a hat. The point that I was trying to get across was that I thought students were suppose to be progressive citizens who were engaged in modern consumption practices, which to me includes using less plastic bags. So don’t fret it hardly keeps me from sleeping, I just felt like trying out the “Love The Way We Bitch’ part of The Coast Mag. Cya next week my new narrow-minded cyberfriend.

  7. If plastic reduction is important to you then simply set a good example and leave it at that. You can’t control the world. You can only control yourself.

  8. Taylor Alberta, your using wooden tooth picks well you destroy the forests. You love Alberta so you must be a fan of dirty oil and plastic bags are made from oil so you are part of the problem, a hypocrite who should “mind your own business”. Is that so hard for you? You do not make me upset btw haha. I will look for more of your loud breathing on the bitch section. I do agree about the University kids too but what do you expect from a bunch of fake “Political Correct” and FAKE irrelevant, hypocritical, pompous toolbags who think they are smart because they attend university lol Some of the most clumsiest and illogical humans i have ever met hold University degrees. What do you expect? Narrow-minded? Nope. I just observed how nosey you are that you pay attention to what other people do that does not affect you what-so-ever. Don’t even try debating me lol
    Next!

  9. A bag needs to be sanitary. I don’t want the juices from last week’s steak coming in contact with this week’s lettuce. Cross contamination is a real serious concern. You can’t just re-use a bag without paying attention to this or you could end up very sick.

I recommend washing reusable bags. but then you need to consider the damage that the detergents will do to the environment.

  10. Just bring a reusable bag and stop behaving like entitled jerks. as for WASHING it and any clothing…USE CASTILE SOAP! it doesnt do anything to the enviroment and it cleans well.
I hate this generation with all of my heart. All of you uinder 35 can fry in hell.
