The Pixies proved that they are masters of music, rocking the Metro Center from the rafters to the front row. However, I must send my disdain to the loser who was dragged away by 3 security guards with his hands clasped behind his back and his shoulders vibrating around as he struggled to break free with his embarrassed girlfriend quietly following the spectacle. Wow! I never thought I’d see an idiot at a Pixies show, especially since it was their first and only appearance in town, ever! It was a Pixies show man, not a public protest or a crowd thrashing around to the commercial angst of 7 Doors Down or 2 Tubs of Dirty Laundry (insert shitty band name here)! You are a loser and you lost! —Debaser

i would have thought *wheeee extra entertainment* glad the show rawked
I guess I was so captivated by what was happening on stage that I didn’t notice this sideshow at all…
There are at least a few idiots like this at every concert, regardless of how good or bad you think the band is.
nevermind said it, there will always be a shit disturber at a concert.
Glad everyone enjoyed the show, not to my taste for sure, lolz – by this title I thought that they might be punk – not.

nevermind…I was at the Jackson Browne concert on Tuesday…there were no incidents there. It was a great show as well.
The joke during set up was, Where are the crowd barracades to protect the stage ?
After all , they could riot L M F A O
I’ve no idea who they are…
what songs might someone -who doesn’t listen to the radio- know of theirs?
gimme the best ones so I can at least give them a chance before ripping on them.
it takes all kinds o.p., and do you know what happened? thought not. maybe he was selling dope and got busted. or maybe he was being an ignorant fucking asshole, and someone didn’t like it. a lot of shit goes on, that you don’t know about it.
i have seen some crap going on at these things, that no ordinary people would ever do.
zZz – You’d probably almost never hear the Pixies on the radio. They’re 90s alt-rock heroes that reformed for a kick-ass tour to give people like me a chance to relive our adolescence 🙂
Check out Wave of Mutilation, Here Comes Your Man, Debaser, Crackity Jones….pretty much anything off the Doolittle album.
The show was amazing. I haven’t had that much fun at a show in a long time, and never at the Metro Centre.
ok, yeah, listened to a bit….that’s too much of that bubbly crap for me…
I can see the appeal… they can play, I just don’t like the sound myself….
Drunk and disorderly at a rock show, that’s a first. What a chien andalusia.
I noticed this at the show too. I can’t help but wonder what caused the scene.. anyone catch anything prior to that?
@ZZZ ..
My favorite songs are Ana, Tame, No 13, Hey..
They do a lot of different styles so check out a bit more. It’s not all bubbly. It depends on what type of music you’re into but they’re A+ in my books.
yeah, I’m pretty sure you need to be wearing clashing colors and platform shoes as a prerequisite to enjoying the pixies….
Bubbly? Clashing colours and platform shoes? I don’t get it….

The guy’s gf was on his shoulders and the security asked him to let her down and he refused a few times.
