It’s Friday morning, long weekend ahead, life is good right? Driving to work this morning saw a huge, beautiful rainbow, thought for sure it was the start of a great day.
Then I get to work and realize that I am the only one showing up to work… again today! What is fucking wrong with these people??? Don’t they realize they have a job with responsibilities?
I sure would love to still be home in bed, sipping coffee, enjoying the peacefulness of a quiet house with no kids. But no, my responsible ass is at work, doing everyone’s shit cause they have no sense of work ethic at all. It pisses me off, and will most likely ruin my day if I let it.
I am so tired of lazy, overpaid employees who not only have no integrity but also receive no discipline for their slackness.
Make me the boss for a day, I’ll be kicking ass all over the place, shake this place up and hire some people who get it!

o.p., i feel for you, many jobs that i had in the past,it was basically the same as you. if you get paid by the hour, consider that a bonus, to the smucks that don’t show at all. and come raise time, you should be the golden boy/girl there. most employers are stupid, but there are actually some, that do know your worth, and will reward you in the future somehow. be patient, and to fuck with everyone else. do your job to the best of your ability, and piss on the rest.
It’s only a good day when you see a DOUBLE RAINBOW. Take note.

Either they are Gov’t employees, or the have vacation days they want to use up.
OP: contact HR and tell them you have “Friday-itis” and you’re unable to work Fridays. Tell them it’s a recognized illness and you cannot be discriminated against.
Shhhh…my Friday commute is half the time than the rest of the week because so many people take time off on Fridays.
I get to sleep in an extra 15 minutes on Fridays…it’s lovely!
Overpaid and underworked? Not showing up to work on Fridays and unafraid of being fired for it? From the description of his co-workers, something tells me Loco works in a government office. How about this? The vast majority of these slugs should be fired and their departments abolished, thus saving Loco from a lot of frustration and the taxpayers a ton of money.
