I was given a ticket $141.16 yesterday for biking from where I was parked, to the other side of the road. First of all this officer was very short, sour, uptight, and extremely rude! Then went on to explain why there would be no point in fighting the ticket because it would be too expensive?? This confused me, because if he thought it was his moral duty to give me the fairest consequence for my actions why would he have to explain this to me? Is the justice system straying away from its community and loyalty. Of course it is! Maybe a transforming meditation retreat will help you gain some insight of the beautiful connectiveness to the world, roll around in a meadow, look up at the stars on the beach and listen to the waves. Maybe your power-hungry demeanour and obvious self-deception will melt away. —Officer of Justice, If You’re Not Willing to Do It

  1. How do manage to steer and balance the crucifix on your left shoulder at the same time?

Hay Bird, we all know that certain quaint colloquialisms have been banned here, but why on earth is it still acceptable to refer to police officers as “pig”?

  2. i don’t understand what you got a ticket for? no helmet is 135 bucks and what ivan said

  3. you see that thing on their chest, it s called a badge? and wearing said badge, makes them your god. so o.p., if you want to fight the ticket, go for it. but be prepared for a long life of hassles from then on. i found that out the hard way. took me nearly 15 years to see the light. they have all the power in the world, and you, little piss ant, have sweet fuck all. think i’m joking, just watch how much shit comes to you, once you start in the courts.

  4. I think OP must have drove his bike across the road when he should have walked it?
If so …he deserved the fine and shouldn’t complain about it or waste tax payers money in fighting it.

  5. God you sound like a gigantic ass. You can fight the ticket if you want, show up in court. Although if you did in fact do something to earn it, it’s your moral and ethical duty to get your granola ass down there and pay it.

  6. You are driving a vehicle on a public road. The same rules apply to you as to other vehicles, no exceptions. You aren’t allowed to make a u-turn in the middle of the street in your car, why should you be able to do the same on a bike? Fact is, you did it in front of a cop, and if someone did the same (in front of a cop) in a car, they’d get a ticket too. Finally some fairness in applying the “rules of the road”. Let me be the first to congratulate you on your dumb-assery. Lol, assclown.

  7. WHAT IS JUSTICE?

“Justice, n. rightfulness or lawfulness, as of a claim or title; justness of ground or reason: to complain with justice.” (American College Dictionary)

“Is the justice system straying away from its community and loyalty.(sic) Of course it is!”

This bitch is incoherent and/or inadequate on three grounds:

    (1) What does the officer’s explaining the cost of contesting the ticket have to with his (the officer’s) “moral duty” to give the “fairest consequence” – whatever that means – of the bitcher’s actions? There is no connection between the two.

    (2) How does the bitcher deduce that, on the basis of the officer’s explaining the cost of contesting the ticket, that the justice system is straying away from its community and loyalty – whatever that might mean? There is no connection between the two.

    (3) The bitcher has clearly failed to satisfy the minimal criteria of complaining with justice, to bring coherent grounds or reasons in support of his claim that justice has not prevailed. His defence lacks “justness,” is inadequate, not to say incoherent.

    Case dismissed.

    A pleasure as always.

    Cheerio!

  8. The bottom line is:
Cops are power-hungry assholes who, if they’re male – have small dicks and use their power to compensate for their lack of prowess.

If they’re female – they are dissatisfied that they aren’t male, thus lack a dick and prowess.

Poster, you can go to court – the only additional cost will be a small charge for court fees and only if he shows up and you lose your case.

If Officer Little Dick 2749 DOESN’T show up, the case is dismissed and you owe nothing.

  9. Well, the officer was right, if you want to go to court with an attorney (and we all know the saying about representing yourself), you would be looking at a $800 retainer. But it is your choice.

  10. What does the officer’s vertical challenge have to do with your lack of being able to accept the fact that you got caught doing something illegal?????? And now you have to pay a fine. Boofuckinghoo. We see it everyday, cyclists going through stops without stopping, cycling at times on sidewalks then on the street then back onto the sidewalk. Suck it up buttercup.

  11. I just love people who believe that cops are “power hungry” and out to get them. You fuckwads wouldn’t last 2 fucking seconds in their shoes. I was recently witness to an unfortunate incident involving a friend of mine. I had to call 911 to save his life and within 2 minutes 4 police cars showed up to grab the perp who was threatening my friend’s life. Pissed off that you got fined for a traffic infraction? Follow the rules! Or, if you don’t (which I honestly always don’t) suck it up and pay the damn penalty.

  12. ‘First of all this officer was very short’ – I think you owe Wheelie an apology, Stevie Babe.

  13. was it a u turn… or a jaywalking fine?
sounds like the cop was a noob and dying to ticket any and every infraction [s]he sees.

  14. Just a heads up TT. “Wheels” is not our Wheelie. In fact, judging from his previous posts, I’d say he is Ken Wilson. >; )

  15. I don’t think I do, all the other adjectives describe his attitude, not his physical stature. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong.

  16. Of course, ‘very short’ could also refer to temperment but could be interpreted as ‘vertically challenged’ to some. It’s all the way ya look at it.

  17. FUCK I could use a sausage mcgriddle and two golden brown deep fried hashbrowns right now.

  18. OB, any cop can ticket you for anything that is against a law or they can possibly twist to that ‘In their opinion’ its being against the law.

That doesn’t mean you can’t fight the ticket. You never told us what you are charged with, I seen remarks about helmit tickets being a different amount , but no actual what does your ticket say you are charged with ?
You don’t need a lawyer to go to traffic court, as someone who has beaten parking tickets as well as my last moving violation…take photo’s large wide screen photo’s, showing where you were, where you were going. IF you get the judge to agree your ordeal is over & the cost is gone. If you lose its only a few dollars more on the ticket for court costs, if the judge leaves it stand, it could also be reduced to a lesser charge…good luck.
