Thanks for leaving me high and dry a month before my wedding with no photographer. I guess shooting sluts would be more fun for a dick like you. —A pissed off bride that hates you

anyone with a half ways decent digital camera can take pictures. unless you want the format in black and white. which is usually more expensive, go figure. now as to who to get to take them, well there are always relatives, if they are complete fools, cluttzes, or drunks. and of course, a professional from somewhere else.think on it a bit.
A MONTH? Click Click there are hungry paparrazo out there shuttering to have a gig. Give ’em a call.
That sucks OP. My guess is that they are not a real professional though…or they wouldn’t leave you high and dry. And who are the sluts you’re talking about?
Honey, I’m not a bad amateur photographer and I work professionally with photoshop. I stress that i’m not a professional photographer and only a junior designer at best (i’m a web developer – programmer – but that requires photoshop knowledge to some degree) but I’d be cheap. Hit my profile if you’d like some last-minute help!
or if you want an actually decent photographer, go to NSCAD or NSCC and hit some photography students up for help. They’d be over the moon to get a gig, i’d reckon.
There are plenty of photogs around that can likely fit you in — especially if your wedding is in Feb/March.
Good luck!!!
Op whats your email address? I don’t want to spam with self promotion website or email here, but I can cover your day (10hrs),give you all images on disc in colour and bw, and do up to 100 ps edits (colour pops etc). I’m a pro photog who always welcomes an excuse to fly home (halifax) to shoot a wedding.
By the way – if you signed a contract and paid a deposit, I’d also bring that up with your photographer. Personally, when I reserve a day for someone, its reserved, regardless if I get another offer from someone else – even if its for more money. Shame on him.
OP, YellowPages. Plenty of photographers in there.
yeah chicky, i wanna know who they are too, and if i can come over sunday to do them. and of course, take their pictures too.
OP you might want to try this idea (it isn’t mine) get everyone you know to bring a camera you also buy a dozen of the cheap disposable camera’s…they take surprisingly good qualtity photo’s. Have everyone take pictures of all that’s going on. have several digital camera friends & family taking the ‘posed photo’s’ you will end up getting some really nice shots. A friend tried this at their wedding & they ended up with some really nice photo’s, really interesting photo’s & everything in between !
Good luck, & don’t forget the pre-nup !
Just find a friend who paid like $500+ for a camera. Even without any training or discipline those folks tend to think they’re photographers anyway.
Hey, watch it Fat. I resemble that remark.
A month, that’s plenty of notice if you ask me. We planned our entire wedding in a month.
sounds more like he dodged a bullet cause you sound like a Bridezilla!
Everyone’s an effing photographer these days.
Just pointing out what I see, hugo. With the debut of the digital camera a few years back the number of photographers in the world suddenly spiked several thousand percent. The point is that anybody can point and click a button.
Who the fuck cares if people who own digitals enjoy photography as a hobby? As someone who has worked as a professional photographer, and who possesses a naturally talented eye for composition, I could care less that Joe Blow has a digital and enjoys taking pictures. The cream will always rise to the top.
No offense taken, I was being funny, and I totally agree. Digital cameras have made photography affordable for everyone, it’s a fun hobby and a good way to capture memories. Just like, owning a car dosen’t make you a professional racer car driver, owning a camera dosen’t make you a pro either.
But I do laugh when I see shots like my avatar for sale on-line for $7. Fook I says, I can do that.
Oceanchick, the difference/problem/whatever is that a hobby is not a profession but these expensive camera-owning folks think their hobby is a profession and dare to start their own photography business and charge people money. It’s quite amusing.
Not all expensive camera-owning folks, surely, Fat? Not to worry though, iso-kay and Suckulous have kindly offered up their services for less than the “pro’s” charge:)
“I could care less” is not the expression…..it’s “I couldn’t care less” Think about it.
While I’m being anal;(this one not directed to you Lady of the Ocean) WTF is wrong with people who constantly substitute “then” for “than”? Fuck that is annoying. With that off my breast…..
…..end of grammar police-work….
OB, do as More suggests, and also throw in a designated Photographer as well, someone that professes to be good (review their portfolio of course, and they don’t have to be expensive).
That combination never fails wonderful results.
Once you get all the photos submitted, you should almost be able to string them together and run it like a video! (not that you would tho)
Hey, Smee, I knew that. I was just checking to make sure everybody was paying attention:P
(Not really, I just misquoted.)
Better to misquote then to be ignorant.
missing my brudder’s bd party…sick i yam, feel free to entertain me^^
Entertaining is such a pain, girl; besides it looks like you’re tits-up.
Get well soon sick-sis:)
take it as a sign.
cancel the whole thing…
i know people like weddings, but you can save a pile of dough by eloping or what zZz said
Actually I’ve heard the term is “I could care less” and that most people get it wrong because it doesn’t really make sense, unless the term was meant to be sarcastic or something. But I’m sure you can google it and find evidence for both sooo who knows!?
I prefer:
“Try to imagine how little I care.”,
it’s punchier.
