So, I just got “swarmed” if this is the shit local media is using to scare people into staying inside this year, it’s fucking insane. I had a bunch of tweens run up to me, “threaten” me (I use quotations, because I doubt a 90 year old in a wheel chair would be threatened by this.
Yes, there’s 15 of them, but they’re kids, and no matter what anyone tells me, they don’t have the balls to do shit, and my experience proved this. As soon as one started coming close and pointing at me through his pocket, I simply grabbed the kid, threw him to the ground, and made a move for the next. I’m not trained in any self defense, nor do I consider myself an athlete. This is ridiculous people, yes Halifax has issues, but they’re not deadly big city issues, try walking through a real ghetto, oh that’s right, you’d have the common sense not to.
This media fear mongering isn’t going to work on this citizen, I hope that others follow suit. Hiding in your apartment, house or vehicle isn’t going to teach these kids anything but that they can scare people into doing what they want. Keep this up and these kids may grow up to do some real crimes. —Never going to be a “Victim”

This is garbage. My friends were attacked, all are able-bodied, and they were really hurt by these people.
