what the fuck is up with no dogs in every apartment building! i have been looking everywhere! and nothing. no dogs, no smoking, no having lives. thanks to the assholes that let their dogs piss and shit all over everything and now we have to suffer for it! if people took a risk and said yes to pets i wouldn’t have this problem! i just want my dog and 4 cats to have a place to live!

Keep at it and you’ll eventually find something. My grandmother had this problem not too long ago, really narrowed her options.
Maybe landlords just don’t want their buildings destroyed or stunk up, with the other tenants scared or annoyed.
Thems the breaks. Don’t expect others to take the risk for your lifestyle choice.
The owners of the house I used to live in let new tenants in downstairs at one point. They had a dog. We were treated to shit mines all over what used to be a nice lawn
Buy your own place. Let your dog shit all over it.
Ever go into an apartment after pets (dogs, cats, whatever) have spent any time there. It stinks and costs a lot to get the smell out, and that’s not always successful.
Well, cats are not as destructive as dogs….I’ve had 3 in an apartment and other than an old cat puke stain you couldn’t really tell they were there…..
It`s tough to find a place that allows dogs, I have a pitbull/lab mix and it was almost impossible to find a place but I did, keep looking you`ll eventually find a place, good luck.
Why do people want to imprison animals in a city apartment anyway, especially a dog?
Adopt the dog out and get a goldfish.
Wait… a dog AND FOUR cats in an apartment! Is that part a joke? Or are these apartments you are looking at gigantic…
I was gonna say, thewons…that’s just sick to have a dog and four cats in an apartment.
Unless you don’t clean the cat’s shit box you really don’t have a problem with cats destroying apartments/leaving a stink behind. My female cat has a weak stomach and barfs projectile vomit all over the carpet in my room, but a little woolite carpet cleaner and it’s like it never happened….but see, barf doesn’t smell like piss or shit and dogs are a lot more apt to piss or shit on carpet than a healthy cat. My cats have never once gone anywhere other than their litterbox. And a cat’s meow, no matter HOW loud it is, isn’t as loud as a soft bark….it sounds cuter too 😛
Dogs are cool, but having one in an apartment is kind of sad for the dog. Dogs need room to play and move around, especially outside and when the dog is a big dog.

i hope that you’re a responsible pet owner but i have to doubt it considering you expect to house that menagerie in an apartment building. you need to rent a duplex if you’re going to live in the city.
if i were an apartment building owner, there’s NO WAY i would rent out to someone w/ a dog and 4 cats. you’re just being unreasonable.
when cat+dog:human is more than 4:1 you have issues….
you must be rich and in need of attention or saved these animals and can’t turn them to the already crowded shelters. Either way, it seems you’re trying to start your own.
why are cats accepted but not small dogs…im waiting for a rich person to sue the province over this and they would win..in vancouver someone did seven years ago and landlords out there must accept dogs into their buildings if they are under a certain weight and size and pay an extra damage desposit …this will happen one day because the landlords realize that they cannot keep pets out legally…
well friend, it has to do with a thing called damage, and maybe even noise. who the hell wants a 150 rotty barking at 3 in the morning, living next door, in a very inclosed area. bad enough, some people leave their dogs outside overnight. and then we go to the damage part, piss, shit on carpets, scratches on walls, etc., but i am sure you get the picture by now.
Also it’s the rug rats that are the yappers. The smaller the dog the more they yap.
Live in my house, live by my rules. Live by your rules, buy your own house.
At least you still have the ability to live and have a roof over your head.
Some people can’t!
you have too many animals for an apartment
A dog and four cats? Are you serious? You should stop looking for an apartment and see if there’s an abandoned warehouse somewhere you can shack up in. More like compulsive-animal-hoarder UN-friendly city.
It has nothing to do with size. Cats are quieter, and they tend to not piss and shit on the floor unless they’re sick.
I have yet to see a cat (mostly everyone I know has cats) who does not use their litterbox once trained (which generally consists of dropping them into said litterbox upon acquiring said animal — that’s IT).
A cat will lay down and sleep all day. A dog on the other hand will bark, piss on the floor if they’re not let out, yap some more, blahblah. Dogs are louder and more destructive than cats, on average. They smell worse too. Even if my cat falls into the bathtub when I’m taking a bath (yah, it’s happened, and it wasn’t pretty) she didn’t smell badly….but a wet dog? And a fucking cat doesn’t slobber over everything.
Cats >>>>>>> Dogs.
FWIW, my cats don’t sleep ALL day- they nap AFTER all the hard work of CHEWING THROUGH MY EFFIN’ EXTENSION CORDS!!! I hope 220V is enough to wake you up, CAT!!!
its not fair for a dog to live in an apt
look for a flat
Dog’s ruin shit. That’s why.
As a person who rents to tenants we keep cats and dogs out because we may run into people down the road who have sensiticities or allergies and they cannot rent due to it having been lived in by animals for year +
I own a dog.
nice spelling truthx2….. loser!
