For the love of god people. I know people love their pets and all ( I am a dog lover myself ), but if I see one more person trying to awkwardly negotiate a turn doing the two handed shuffle while their dog is sitting on their lap/jumping around/trying to hand out the window i am going to scream.
You can’t talk on a cell phone and drive, what makes you think this insane practice is any safer?
stop eating, hang up the cell phone, put the dog in the back seat, Use your turn signals ( ESPECIALLY IN PARKING LOTS ), ignore your reflection in the mirrors for two seconds, keep you eyes forward and drive your god damn car !!!

Or how about you leave your dog home for a few hours? If you’re so desperate and lonely that you feel the need to bring your dog on every trip you make, your dog probably wants some time away from you on occasion. And if your dog is the kind who can’t be left alone for fear of him ripping your house to shreads, then shame on you for raising such a brat of a pet.
Agreed! And if you are bringing your dog for a walk in one of our man y beautiful parks STRAP IT IN! There are tons of different doggy carseats (for smaller dogs) and doggy seatbelts (for larger dogs) that will prevent them from flying head-first through your windshield in the unfortunate even of a car accident. Would you drive around with your infant on your lap? no.
Ooh good point about the parking lot driving. I wish people would obey traffic laws in parking lots. All of the same rules apply, and police WILL pull you over, even at Wal-Mart.
I just saw someone yesterday driving with their dog on the dash board! What the hell! You know the dog couldn’t have jumped up there on it’s own, so it’s the stupidity of the owner who put him up there. One unexpected stop and that dog is thrown to the floor.
