I can understand using the occasional drop of perfume to accent an outfit, or a teeny spritz of cologne for a date, but too many people are entering public places absolutely reeking of the stuff, is your BO that bad? All anyone is going to think, if they can still breathe, is just what are you covering up.
There are a lot of people that are allergic to perfumes and cologne, and you’re being incredibly inconsiderate, especially if you’re entering an enclosed space, like a bus. I’d rather deal with pissy bum stink than your foul scents.
Cut down on the scents, that cute guy or gal you like aren’t going to be impressed when their eyes are watering from your repugnant smell.

Sensitivity to scents is rare. Extreme sensitivity is ever rarer. Often, people who say they are “allergic” are lying so that they can get a bit of attention. I don’t like it when people bathe in the stuff either, but I don’t fake an illness to make people stop.
I’m alergic to bad BO
It makes me feel like I’m going to puke.
If I’m puking…then I’m sick, so ‘bad BO’ = ‘being sick’
I mean hell, some people smell like W.O.A. !
take a shower….please.
Them fuckers make me sneeze and choke – they actually stink . Jesus, even a pretty girl that stinks like she took a bath in chanel ceases to be attractive .
I don’t think allergies or sensitivities to scents are that rare, Dr. Fever, particularly when the scents are chemical-based. I know all kinds of people for whom scents can trigger fits of sneezing, respiratory congestion, asthma symptoms, etc. For instance, scented laundry detergents give me hay fever-like symptoms and can make me break out in a rash if I use them, and I can assure you it’s not all in my head or cry for attention. There’s really not much difference between chemically produced fragrances and the crap that off-gases from building materials, so it’s not that outlandish that some people would react to them.
Whether or not these are true chemical “sensitivities” is beside the point. Many of these perfumes are extremely unpleasant smells.
ESPECIALLY when mixed with people’s body smells (in an attempt to mask BO), and ESPECIALLY when that person is someone in your workplace, ie a boss.
Not only are you “forced” to spend time in their vicinity when they have to talk to you, but you are forced to smell their “enhanced” odours, AND you are not allowed to SAY anything about it because THEY might be offended—VERY uncomfortable in the workplace.
And don’t even get me started on people using your phone or keyboard and leaving it all contaminated with their stale scent.
OK—some stuff like soaps and shampoos have a low-level built-in scent—but these usually fade very quickly.
In our culture, perfumes are most often chosen with no consideration for how they mix or clash with a person’s normal odour—and the result, at work anyway, is always gross, gross, gross.
I think I’d rather smell a bit of BO to those who wear perfumes/colognes that can be smelled miles away.
Yea no dount – and you know they showered in it when you can still smell them 20 minutes after they leave .
i would rather smell 7 day old glorious pussy, than to have to take a whiff of sme of that shit.avon is by far the worst yet.and some old ladies seem to have a drum of it,and just into it,before going out.give me the straight natural smell of a female,in heat even more.
