    I’m going for the Wings. More than half of
    the people just want Pittsburgh to win
    because of that cherry-picker Crosby.
    The Red Wings have Paul MacLean. The
    Cup is coming to Nova Scotia either way.

  5. I love it when people razz on Crosby. Reminds me of the Gretzky days when everyone was envious and hated him too. Always happens when a player transcends the sport. You get people who don’t want to “conform” and just want to hate the guy for no particular reason. Oh well, Go Pens Go!

  6. If I had to bet, I’d pick Detroit to win. They’re just too good on home ice.

    If I had to cheer, I’d root for Pittsburgh only because I don’t want Hossa to win it.

    If I had a magic wand, Pittsburgh would be out and the Habs would sweep the Wings.

  12. Gotta love the “We”. Did they play the game, work for the team, own shares?

    These same people who bitch about executive salaries, say absolutely nothing about the insane wages these kids get for playing a game. Further, they think it’s a deal to pay $50-1,000+ to watch them play. Hell a bench warmer makes more than $300,000 a year. I’ll take that job. Not to mention the millions they get from endorsement and Trademark products.

    Loved it when Sid The Kid said he’d play the best game he can. They all damned well better be, in every single game, with what they’re being paid

    I stopped watching when they started with $1,000,000 contracts.
