This is a specific bitch to the two douchebags who decided to skip out of my sublet apartment 1506 on Spring Garden Road recently, so now you know which two douchebags I reference!!
I now owe $2400 in back rent, so that is a really good ass and head fuck! Also, thanks for the gift of leaving the trashed place for me to clean, yayyyyyy love it.
I was kind to leave you gentle messages on Facebook, even your mother would not respond! I am a born and raised Maritimer and I am sick to my stomach knowing that as one of you is a fellow Maritimer that you’d feel good doing this fuck job on me.
I once thought of you as descent and trustworthy, now your scum and less than human, I hope that rock you’ve crawled under lets you sleep with a clean conscious at night. You can still make this right for your sake, but you will always be a diminished form of a human. —I Want To Vomit On You!

A better idea is to take them to small claims court.once you get your judgement, you serve their employers with garnishee notices and watch how quickly Mom pays.
You did get their employment information, right?
THE LAST TANGO IN HALIFAX:
When Bernardo Bertolucci released “Last Tango In Paris” in 1972, with Maria Schnieder (looking really good with no clothes on) and Marlon Brando (not so much), the film caused quite a stir with it’s frank depictions of simulated sex and existentialist tone. American philosopher Art Buchwald who had lived the expatriate life in Paris correctly deduced that the film’s underlying theme was real estate and the lengths to which individuals will go to acquire it.
In this tragi-comic case a member of the property owning caste made the critical error of renting to the underclass, on the grounds that a “fellow Maritimer” would be a good tenant. Which makes every bit as much ontological sense a placing a horse in charge of a municipal council public transit commission on the grounds that he would know all about transportation
Such hi-jinks may have passed for civic planning under the reign of Caligula but even the benighted backwater of Halifax can be presumed to have advanced slightly after 250 years. The upshot is that our resident slumlord has paid $2400.00 to be “head and assfucked” and left to clean up the mess, which in this place and time is about $2350.00 above current market value. And now, wishes to vomit on the participants, hardly realizing that such a privilege will set him/her back an additional $2400.
All I can recommend is “Don’t forget the butter”

Now you know the crap landlords go through. That is the problem with subletting, you are on the hook for what they do. Further, unfortunately, the process can be slow. You first have to go to the Tenancy Board and have an Application to Director issued (cost $31.25, remember to ask for the fee if you win the hearing). Then you have to find them to serve them. Even if they lose at the hearing they can appeal to the Small Claims Court and if they lose there they can appeal that to the Supreme Court. Now if you win that and they don’t pay, you have to go to the Sheriff’s Office to get a garnishment which costs over $200. When you go there you have to know where they work (if they work) and their banking info (bank, branch number, and account number) and then you wait.
An expensive lesson learned: few people can be trusted when it comes to money.
That’s terrible!
Damn, that’s not good.
I had to sublet a place a few years ago. Mind you it was in a different province but the sublet paperwork included the clauses that the subtenant was then responsible from that point on. This could possibly be the case in NS too.
That’s terrible!!!
